I guess it was because Abhishek was 'The Amitabh''s son and Papa Roshan was a floppy that time.Not sure if there was any other reason.

Yup...debuting with Abhishek was cooler...plus it was expected to be a bigger debut. But then karma bitchslapped Kareena when Refugee flopped and KNPH was a blockbuster and Babita and she spent the next 2-3 years wooing HR.
