OMG.. what all happened in just few minutes...
I thought the get together is mainly to introduce to family members...
Yes.. i was having hint that there is some announcement grand ma decided to make...
But never thought its about engagement...
Siddhant said its grand ma wish...
Still why cant she atleast talk to me before doing this to me...
For god sake i am just 16 years...
Is this age for engagement & marriage...
I can understand she doubt that i may go with someone if i didn't get engaged like my father...
It clearly shows she is least having trust on me...
It really hurt me a lot and my eyes got moist...
Siddhant noticed that...
'Roli.. are you ok???' he asked...
'Yes i am...' i said and turned away from others sight & wipe my tears...
I controlled my tears which was trying to escape my eyes hardly...
That is when my grand mother came there with a box...
It seems like a jewellery box...
'Roli... This is gift from me for your engagement...' she said and gave me...
'Thanks Grand ma...' i said and took it from her...
'Wear it Roli..' she said...
Then she looked at Siddhant...
'Siddhant.. what are you seeing... help her in wearing it.. All these were kept for my daughter in law where i got no luck... thats why i am giving it to my grand daughter...' grand mother said...
What she mean by no luck on daughter in law...
What bad my mother did to them other than loving their son like any other person in the world...
Still i control my tears as i dont want to create scene in front of all...
Siddhant opened the box and i can see beautiful jewellery set in that...
Siddhant took the jewels the long chain from that & put it on my neck...
Then bangle & he put it on my hand...
As i was already wearing diamond ear ring.. that was not changed...
'Looking beautiful Roli..' grand mother said...
I just smiled and kept my gaze to the floor...
Siddhant hold my hand...
'Roli.. lets go in for a while and also can keep this box inside your room...' he said and took me inside my room...
He locked the room and kept the box inside the wardrobe locker...
Then came near me and wrapped his hand around me...
He pulled me closer and kissed on my forehead...
'Darling.. whats bothering you...' he asked...
'What my mother did to them.. she is not even alive then why are they showing that much hatred towards her...' i asked...
'Roli.. i can understand but you know they got some hatred on her like she has taken their son from them against their wish... and after all these years... when we dont have them even alive to try for anything... we are helpless to change anything now... so just relax yourself...' he said...
'She thought i will be like my mother and love someone right.. she didn't trust me right.. thats why she arrnaged the engagement.. in just my 16 years of age...' i said...
'Roli... just tell me are you not interested on me.. are you not happy on getting engaged to me...' he asked...
'After all these shock i am receiving recently.. only happy thing happened is getting engaged to you.. ' i said...
'If its the feeling towards you getting engaged to me.. then ignore any other you have on your mind... just leave everything to me... i will handle it... I only wish you to be happy...' he said...
'Did you thought i wont be happy getting engaged to you???' i asked...
'I need to accept i got fear how you are going to react about this engagement...' he said...
'You dont need to after whatever we shared between us...' i said with a blush... keeping my eyelids down...
He hold my chin & lift my face to look into my eyes...
'Ready for getting touch up again then???' he asked...
'As if you are waiting only for my permission...' i said blushing harder...
He moved towards my lips for a deep & passionate kiss again...
This man makes me crazy...
He is the first man i ever got attracted to..
He is the first man i ever let touch me too...
He is the first man who ever gave me kiss...
Now he is the man i am engaged with...
Though i feel bad that my grand mother arranged our engagement without even discussing with me once... i am happy that atleast she arranged it with my man...Siddhant...
When he deepen the kiss.. i was unable to think anything further...
So lost in the kiss like floating in a different world were only we both exists...
We were disturbed by a knock again...
Our lips moved apart & Siddhant rushed to open the door...
It was his mother again standing outside the door..
She bust to laugh as soon as seeing him...
I wonder what happened to her then realised he went without wiping his lips..
'Mom.. why are you laughing now???' Siddhant asked...
'OMG Siddhant... look at the mirror instead of asking me...' she said still laughing...
I swiftly took the tissue paper & rushed towards Siddhant...
I hold his shoulder and turned towards me...
I swiftly wipe the lipstick from his lips...
Just now he too realised why his mother is burst out to laugh seeing him and blushed...
'Sorry to disturb you both... but as relatives are starting now.. you both are called down...' she said and went down...
Siddhant & myself looked at each other...
I checked whether the lipstick on his lips was wipe well..
He took the tissue from me and wipe the lipstick which was disturbed from the outline of my lips...
'Shall we go...' he asked while i nodded...
We hold our hands and went below...
All relatives & whoever guests came started leaving from the house...
My grand mother was happy to introduce one by one to me as if its our reception...
Its obvious as i am seeing them for first time after all these years...
Everyone left the house and myself with my grand mother and Siddhant with his parents were left in the house...
'We are really glad to become relatives from family friends Mrs. Divedi...' Siddhant's father said...
'Of course.. i am glad too...' my grand mother said...
We all went to have our dinner...
When all were having dinner involved in their biz & general talks.. Siddhant & myself was looking at each other...
He feed me sweet from his plate while i feed him sweet from my plate...
He bite my fingers when i feed him and wink at me.. while i blushed...
After dinner its time for them to leave...
Siddhant looked at my eyes waving bye with his eyes seeking permission to let him leave...
Its hard to stay away from this man... My eyes denied to give him permission...
Siddhant was wondering how to get permission to start leaving me...
I enjoyed his confused state while others where wondering what is happening...
