Guys, check this out - https://youtu.be/82eS8H2vPfw

In this video reporter says that Sona will not speak Bengali in the serial from now on! 😭 The infamous 'tumi tumi', 'obhodro' dialogues will be missing!
Reporter informed that some fans said that in epi 333 Shaheer spoke better Bengali than Erica in the line "bangla bhashi, Hindi bolbe? " and they also accused Erica for ruining the bengali language to some extent! Erica got agitated from this and tweeted that may be we won't get anymore bengali dialogues from Sona!I have seen the tweets in the video!
If it is true it can spoil the beauty of the cute Devakshi scenes to a great extent! I am a Bengali and I enjoy the Bengali dialogues of this show very much. I sincerely don't want the termination of Bengali dialogues from this show!
I can only request the makers not to cut off the Bengali dialogues from our show! Erica should agree to continue her Bengali dialogues as well! Those fans who questioned her capability of speaking Bengali should apologise to her!

Yeh i felt bad to, i not a bengali but i have heard a little bengali and eri speaks it correctly, i know we are fans if we can praise them we can criticise them but in a way they won't get hurt , but the thing in that tweet was the word 'ruin', a person who works hard and then gets criticize that's wat hurt most (my pov) the person could have said improve (if that wat she felt) and we have seen in ivs that eri is an emotional person and she gets bash from hater, indo etc for no reason their always a limit for things, the only thing i can say is that news Portals alway make a small conversation in to a serious affair, we should ignore this, may be eri was hurt and she may have tweeted this but she is a professional, and she love wats she does so may be its just a news and last i am not blaming that person and neither eri the only mistake was use of wrong word maybe

I refrain from commenting on actors likes ,dislikes and their personal life until it effects the show .

As an actor they will be subjected to harsh criticism and as well as appreciations. They should learn to deal with such comments or hire a PR agency which will handle their SNS accounts

Unfortunately, actors don't have the luxury to lose their cool or show their vulnerability on SNS because at the end of day their reputation is at stake not the anonymous fan who can write anything and can get away with it

Having said that I have no issues with Erica's bengali accent and I appreciate her hard work but at times she doesn't know what to say and when .Declaring she won't talk in Bengali without talking to her show's creative team is not the right approach no matter how hurt you are

Not sure how much say Erica has ,makers might not be happy with her decision .Can she influence the makers to stop Bengali dialogues.i doubt it

To be honest, I don't have a problem with Erica's speaking Bengali in the serial. I felt she did it correctly and worked hard on it.

Regarding the tweet. I don't know if I am right, but as far as I know, it was just one fan/person who told that Erica's Bengali was not right. (again I'm not sure abt this).. it's not like that a large group of people were saying that.. So, i think she should have ignored it.

'Ruin' was a harsh word to use but the fan who initially posted it has always been an Erica fan and I don't think she meant to insult her in any way. She didn't expect Erica to read the tweet but alas.
I don't know Bengali but if Sona's Bengali dialogues are not perfect, I think it is fine as she shown as a Bengali girl growing up in Delhi. Some imperfections in the language is okay.
I think Erica herself does not speak her own mother tongue (I think it is Konkani) very well as she grew up in Mumbai.
This issue is blown out of proportion. It's not fault of either party. Hopefully Erica continues to give her one liner Bengali dialogues in KRPKAB.

As i can c it, erica has very casually replied in her tweet & she used smiley as well. Also the person didnt mean to hurt erica she was just discussing abt it
But all the crazy fans just blown it out of proportion

I have noticed tamil not being spoken the right way by supposedly tamil characters in hindi serials. So what?? I appreciate the actress trying to deliver it to her best being a maharashtrian...In our serial its Moon the solo bengali on sets training others..i have heard. Its the beautiful chemistry between Dev and Sona which needs the sudden inclusion of bengali dialogues as Sona vents out in her mothertongue when irritated right from the beginning and Dev not able to understand it, shows irritation.😆...BUT...these tumi tumi...obhodro...etc have added a growth to their bond and its beyond the purity of the language...V may not know bengali, but their thoughts and expressions in those scenes goes with the chemistry. So let them b...😃
Coming to Eri...i feel...she should calm down and just take the criticism with a pinch of salt. Its the criticism which encourages us to perform better ...I have always felt Eri has a personality which can prove to b greatest asset for working multilingual cinema...as such she fits the traditional south indian gorgeously, she can look fiery bengali the same way. So Eri should just take it light and work on those points...😊She has a bright successful career and criticisms can take her more closer to success as she now can work better on her tight areas.

The gal was deeply hurt by the comments. There were 3 ways to respond to it .
1) either u stop speaking the language. I doubt on that as an actor u cannot take decisions for the character. Fame is very fragile. It can make u or break u. U can't show ur vulnerability, they will take u for a roll.
2) Although u are trying just put in that extra efforts to make ur self perfect. This to take Cristisim in a positive way and show the person that u are better then any other actor.
3) just ignore the comments as u know there are not millions of people in love with u.

That's the conclusion I have made out from ydays Bengali fiasco. The gal who wrote it oplogised to Erica as it was not done deliberately.
