In all of this, Jhanvi is right. Because there comes a point in romantic love where you cannot just give, give, give, help, help, help--and fall deeper, become more entangled and hurt yourself further.
But Aditya showed up and asked for 10 minutes. What he needed those 10 minutes for was key. If Jhanvi had picked up his calls, it would not have made clear whether he needs her for her 'super helping/problem solving skills' or whether he needs her as a companion. If Jhanvi had walked into the house that morning, again she would clearly be the problem solver for Adi and the family.
I am not saying Aditya thinks of Jhanvi only his problem solver and not his friend or companion. He sees her as a companion and friend whom he can always turn to and who will help him in his problems.
But what was made clear with Aditya's visit, is that Jhanvi does hold a high place in Aditya's life and heart. He turned up at her door not for help, not for ideas on how to solve his newest problem, but simply because he needed to confide in her and talk to her. He doesn't tell her about Nisha's blackmail (because if he had she would not have been surprised when Babasa told her), but sought her out and needed to talk to her just to tell her of what had happened to his daughter and pour out his grief of all that's happening.
And then after he left Jhanvi's he calls Nisha and agrees to have her back. Because he needed to get some sort of comfort with Jhanvi's presence before subjecting himself to the defeat/hell.
So today, when Jhanvi goes back to Aditya's house. It is because she has seen that not only does Aditya and his family need her help, but that Aditya himself needs her, Jhanvi.
