ShivIka OS - Our Incomplete Story
"It's over Shivaay." she said blandly.
Those three words. It was like someone had slapped Shivaay Singh Oberoi. No, it was worse than that. It couldn't be described. The pain. The fear. The panic. All these feelings that took over Shivaay in a fraction of a second hearing those words from his Annika just couldn't be described.
Paas aaye... Dooriyaan phir bhi kam naa hui,
Ek adhuri si hamari kahani rahi.
Aasmaan ko zameen, ye zaroori nahi
Jaa mile.. Jaa mile..
Ishq saccha wahi... Jisko milti nahi manzilein...
"Our marriage is over." she repeated herself more to convince herself than Shivaay.
Annika couldn't believe that she just said it. Her worst fear was coming true. And she couldn't bear it. Her chest was tight as she fought back the tears that were threatening to fall out any minute.
Before Shivaay could see her pain, she turned around to go away. She had only made a few steps away from him when she felt a tug at her wrist.
"Please don't leave me Annika." He whispered.
Rang the, noor tha,
Jab kareeb tu tha,
Ek jannat sa tha, yeh jahaan.
Waqt ki ret pe kuch mere naam sa,
Likh ke chhod gaya tu kahaan.
As he saw Annika walk away from him, cold fear spiraled through him. Realization hit him hard. Annika was his life. He couldn't live without her. How could he let her go just like that! So what if she gave up on him. On their relationship. He wouldn't give up. Shivaay Singh Oberoi never gives up.
Tears stung her eyes, but she couldn't fall weak. For her. For Shivaay. She knew if Shivaay asked her to stay she wouldn't be able to refuse. One look at Shivaay and she would break down. No, she couldn't risk it. She pulled her hand away and started towards the door.
Jannatein agar yahin,
Tu dikhe kyon nahin,
Chaand suraj sabhi hai yahaan.
Intezar tera sadiyon se kar raha,
Pyaasi baithi hai kab se yahaan.
Shivaay fell on his knees, "Annika please. Please don't leave me. I know I shouldn't have slapped you, it's all my fault. I'm so sorry. Please don't leave me. I will not be able to live without you. I will die, An-" Anika didn't let him complete as she placed her index finger on his lips. Their eyes locked.
It killed her to see her Shivaay break down. It crushed her to see Shivaay on his knees. Her great wall of Shivay was falling apart. And that too because of her. She couldn't bear to be the reason of his pain.
Shivaay held her wrist and locked his fingers with hers. He saw agony and desperation flicker in her gaze. He could also see the unconditional love in her deep brown orbs. And he found all the answers to his questions.
But still he was helpless.
Jhuk gaya aasmaan,
Mill gaye do jahaan,
Har taraf hai milan ka samaa.
Doliya hain saji, khushbuein har kahin,
Padhne aaya Khuda khud yahaan.
Annika broke his grip and stepped back. She turned around and walked away from him.
With each step she took, all the moments she spent with Shivaay flashed in front of her eyes. All she wanted to do right now was turn back and run into his arms. But she didn't. She continued walking. Leaving a part of her soul behind.
Shivaay could see his whole world falling apart. Yet, he helplessly watched Annika leave.
Hamari adhuri kahani... Hamari adhuri kahani...
But deep down he knew. He knew that it wasn't the end.
