On the other side , in Raman's room
Arjun had recovered from the shock that shagun had left. He had never liked shagun for his friend who was like a brother to him. Shagun and Raman were never compatible and he had never had the heart to say to Raman. He knew that Raman had liked the modern shagun but he was yet to see the darkness that was beneath the extravagance of shagun.
Now how will you manage Raman, what will happen. Everyone is waiting for the bride and groom to arrive agar aaj ye shadi nai hui toh media wale is baat ko hype karne me koi kasar nai chodenge , Arjun said , even he was worried.
Shadi hogi Arjun. Raman assured Arjun wiping his face with the towel after washed off the anger and hurt that was visible. He was trying to compose himself so that no one can have any doubt.
You mean , tune shagun ko dhund liya. Raman how could you marry her , usse badla lene ke liye you don't have to stoop so low and marry the girl who doesn't deserve you. At least think before doing anything , apni life barbaad kyun kar raha hai. Let me talk to uncle and auntyji they will do the needful now. Arjun was about to leave but Raman held him from doing so.
Shagun nai hai arjun , I am marrying ishita. Shagun agar mere saamne aayi is waqt ya iske baad to me shayad use maar hi dalun. If she wasn't interested in marrying why didn't she said so. Kyun natak kar rahi thi. Arjun ek bekasoor ladki ki zindagi barbaad ho rahi hai us shagun ki wajah se. Iske liye mein use kabhi maaf karunga. Raman said while his anger was mellowed down , there was a layer of distress on his face , not only his life but ishita's life was being destroyed. She looked no more than 18. Raman doesn't wanted to marry her but he had to do.
Arjun , you will have to get a meeting with my lawyer now, get an appointment and don't let mom or dad know. I want to sort this out after the marriage asap. Raman said and he couldn't say anything as the door clicked and romi entered with his mother and his mother looked at Raman and started scolding him.
Ye kya kiya Raman , why can't you be sensible , apni shadi ke din bhi ye haal bana rakha hai.. Romi kahan hai Raman ke kapde. She asked. Santosh bhalla looked at her son and she chided him for being a baby when he was now twenty six.
Raman you are getting married now be acting like a sensible, pta nai bachpana kab jayega tera. She this time made sure that Raman was ready and she took him with her. Raman had already asked arjun not to say anything to anyone and he was taken to the mandap where everyone was waiting for them.
