The spell had broken 😊

So MJ got the pearl that's why the spell had broken 😛
But she was very angry

They left for cottage.

He told they had to prepare for the battle 😊

Previous update on page 45

Mother

"Tara, how did the fire start behind you?" he asked parting from her a bit to see her face.

"I don't know. After you left Maria here, I was angry at you, so maybe the haystack lying there had started burning as a result of my anger." She winked.

"So you are telling me that because of your jealousy this fire started?" he mocked.

She narrowed her eyes and was about to say something when she noticed Guruji returning back from the cottage, so she straightened herself. When he entered the place he was shocked.

"What happened here?" he asked looking at the ashes everywhere.

"Don't know. Tara was practising here and suddenly a small fire started," said Mrityunjay.

"Are you alright Tara?" asked Guruji walking towards her.

"I am fine." She said.

"What were you doing when the fire started?" He asked like a father who wants to know each and every detail.

"As Mrityunjay said, I was practising and the spot where it started, my sword fell there just before it started." She said pointing at the location.

"Are you sure you didn't do anything else before picking up the sword?" he asked.

"If you say snapping fingers is something important then yes I did," she replied in a confused tone.

"Is she capable of conjuring fire? But she can't..." he murmured under his breath and immediately left to study.

Tara and Mrityunjay were confused. They looked at each other and then Tara said, "Looks like this place needs to be cleaned."

He smiled and walked to pick up the bucket. She collected the ashes and put them aside. He grabbed the wet haystack and put it in the sunlight. The place was now looking better than what it was earlier. It was growing dark, so soon they left for Tara's place.

While Mrityunjay was riding, Tara said, "So are you ready to meet my mom?"

"I am ready. But are you ready to share your mother's love with me?" He asked.

"You sound so confident." She said snuggling her head into his chest.

Soon they were out of the forest. The sunlight was almost gone. After reaching near Tara's house, they tied Maria and started walking towards her house.

Standing in front of the door, a thought came to Tara, "What if mom doesn't approve of him?" This mere thought was enough for her to lose all her hope and her face grew dull.

Mrityunjay laced his fingers with hers and said, "Don't worry, everything will be fine."

She knocked on the door. The door opened with a slight creaking sound. Tara was standing with Mrityunjay at her side. Aradhana was at first confused to see a tall, muscular and handsome man on her doorstep with Tara. Then her eyes spotted them holding hands and she realized who the man was. A smile lighted up her face.

"Mom, this is Mrityunjay and Mrityunjay this is my mom," said Tara looking from her mom to Mrityunjay and Mrityunjay to her mom.

"Come, let's talk inside," said Aradhana extending her hand to open the door.

As soon as they were all settled, Aradhana said, "So..." and then stopped.

Both Tara and Mrityunjay were looking at Aradhana curiously and waiting for her to complete her sentence.

After an awkward silence Aradhana laughed. "Let's start from the beginning." She said looking towards them.
"What's your name young man? Where do you live? How did you meet my daughter?"

She was going to continue the questions but Tara interrupted her, "Mom!"

Mrityunjay smiled thinking Tara must have gotten her talkative nature from her mother.

"My name is Mriryunjay and I live in the forest with my Guruji." He said keeping in mind Guruji's words not to reveal anything about his real identity.
"I was in the forest returning to my cottage when your daughter bumped into me," he continued.
"Me and my Guruji hunt down the terror in the forest. He added seeing curiosity on Aradhana's face.

"You mean like hunting down vampires?" She questioned.

He nodded his head in yes. "Oh ... I almost forgot to thank you for saving our Prince. The Royal family and we citizens of Wonderland are grateful for your help."

Seeing the two important persons of her life talking normally, Tara left to prepare for dinner. From the kitchen she was able to hear the sound of little giggles and laughter, which made her happy.

When the dinner was ready, they sat together. Mrityunjay sat next to Tara. Seeing them together Aradhana said, "Your father would have loved to see his daughter with such a good man." Tara held her mother's palm and gave it a little comforting squeeze. The dinner went quiet.

After dinner Mrityunjay was leaving when Aradhana said, "I have never thought that my Tara will ever meet a person like you. People say a person like you doesn't exist, who cares about people and is brave. You are so much like our King. Only thing sad about the King is that he is longer the same as he was earlier." She stopped seeing where her speech was going.

Mrityunjay took a breath thinking about his family and said, "It was good to meet you Lady Shukla."

Before he could continue, Aradhana said, "Call me Mom."

"That means I am not rejected?" Mrityunjay winked looking towards Tara who was looking at him with a big smile on her face.

She hugged her mom and said, "I knew you would like my choice."

"Of course dear, no one can reject him and especially when you have selected him," said Aradhana and placed a kiss on Tara's forehead.

"I should leave now. It's too late and Guruji must be waiting for me," said Mrityunjay taking a couple of steps towards the door.

"Next time when you come bring him over here," said Aradhana to the retreating back of Mrityunjay. Tara followed him till the place where they had tied Maria.

Placing a gentle kiss on her lips, Mrityunjay mounted himself on Maria and rode towards the forest.
