BETWEEN THE MIND AND THE HEART ....6/6/17

So shagun is at the bhallas to visit aaliya with passport renewal form and aaaliya shares the new project info and the clothes she picked out for him..shagun is very happy...and aaliya also cooked food and sent a packed lunch

So aids presentation is a success...adi shares this with aaliya...and she asks him to eat the food she cooked for him and disconnects. She made some food that adi doesn't like..bhindi and Arvi..shagun tell she that adi doesn't like those...but says he will eat as she made it out of love for him. So shagu asks aaliya to do a video call..

Adi opens his lunch box to find the food he hates...so adi mistakingly accepts the face timing..😆he didn't even change his clothes..anyways..aaliya didn't notice that first and talks only about the food... adi praised her cooking..shagun conveys that she told aaliya about the food...aaliya apologizes ...and shagun congratulates adi..thats when aaliya notices the change in clothes..so adi proudly shows the contract to shagun..but aaliya is only concentrating on the clothes and shagun come to know that these clothes were picked by Ishita...Adi fumbles and aaliy disconnects ..

And shagun starts that ishita can never do anything right..all she knows is to interfere in others life..so this adds fuel

So ishu is asking the maid why she gave arvi and bhindi to aaliya as adi doesn't like those..jsut then shagun walks out with aaliya..and blames ishita for this..

Ishu ...what I did now?

Shagun...when aaliya selected the clothes for adi why does she have to interfere and change it..and made him wear her choice of clothes...aaliya is very hurt...why is she interfering and why can't she stay out of it?

Ishu ...I didn't do anything on purpose..neither did i force adi, normallly adi wears formals for his presentation...he wasn't comfortable..did you really think i will go against Aliya or hurt her? She's my daughter? Maybe you think she's my DIL..she was my daughter earlier, and why are you interfering ..its between them..and its about their family and wants to stay that way and doesn't shagun to come here and interfere.

And then ishu turns towards aaliya and says she's the DIL for the house and family, maybe you think I sound like a typical MIL, but you were my daughter first, and that she doesn't have to disclose everything to her mumma, its not needed, here people might think that you are complaining against the members..and this is not good...my mom lives next door..am i saying everything to her? No...sharing is ok..but the problem should stay within the family and respect elders...whatever happens here stays here ...and asks if aaliya understood.

Shagun interrupts saying what was the need ..

Aaliya...interrupts and reminds her about the travel agent..and sends shagun away.

In the night

Raman informs ishu that Aliya came to know that adi didn't wear the clothes of her choice...and the fight has already begun..and all Ishu wanted is for adi to be comfortable..that's all and has no hidden agenda and adds she didn't want to hurt aaliya either but thought of both of their comfortableness.

Over there

Adi is trying to talk to aaliya ..but she's giving him a silent treatment..and then tells her he didn't like her choice but still was mum as he didn't want to hurt her ...and ishima knows that he wears formals to the meetings, its that simple..she wanted me to be comfortable and she only helped him

Raman.. this is not help..this is interference ...its between them let them make mistakes and learn...and aaliya might think that you are not her amma but her MIL with your constant nagging...

Ishu..I'm not the interfering kind..

R,..i got a call from shagun,..Ishu was like what?..don't know what's going on between you 2...why is he bothered about shagun? Why is he getting so affected/ influenced by shaguns talks and why go off on his wife based on what shagun says?..doesn't he have common sense? Who blows things out of proportion? So just coz shagun says he decided to confront her?

I..what happened?..nothing...i didn't want aaliya to share everything with her mumma...its not fair for shagun to interfere in our family maters..isn't this wrong? Raman had no answer ...

R...are you sure that's all there is to this?

I..yes..I did scold her ...whether you take it to be as her mom or her mil..or whether its misinterpreted as wrong...all i wanted to show her the right path ..that's all

As expected ishita apologized to Aliya that a relationship has to be maintained between the inlaws and her home..that's all she was trying to do ...to maintain a pleasant and happy environment..its better for a dil not to share inlaws info with her mumma and vice versa that's all..

Aaliya.. i didn't say anything amma..and that shagun saw the video call i was having and she saw that and that's how all started..

Raman was there when aaliya started talking

And that she was upset ...

I..I'm sorry when shagun started i though you must have disclosed it.

Raman..see what did I tell you..she's not your amma anymore but your mil..

I...no I'm not a typical mil..but i came here to tell you that ...I'm not the kind who wants to control her DIL...but I should've taken the back seat..the thing is..you try to make something good but it ends up bad ...so it time to share our responsibilities ..and gives her the keys to aaliya..

Aaliya hesitates..but raman insists saying what ever she maybe your amma or your saas..I will get to spend sometime with her...

Ishu is a confident that aaliya can do it and aaliya says she will give it her best shot...

And ishra leave..

And raman says that ishita is winning the challenge.

And ishu starts..ok now I've proved I'm not the interfering mil or a overprotecting mom..So I've won..

R..you've given the responsibilities to alaiya and said you will not interfere ..but that's where the trick it..you cannot sit quiet ..you just cannot do it..so he's now trying the reverse psychology on her

I...I'm confident that aaliya can do it..so I will not interfere

R...i too am confident that Aliya can do it..but about her amma, who's being taking care and running this house..likes and dislikes of everyone.. how can she give that up?...and that she cannot sit quiet or idle..the rate at which you gave the keys to her..you will take it back from her..trust me

I...why should i get it back..when i personally handed over the responsbilities to her

Raman..fair enough ..lets see..prove it...I'm very sure you will take the keys back..and heads to the restroom ishu self talk.. i will complete this challenge..so no more jkr..no more interference..no more jagat mata too...taking the back seat..yay.. this is the new ishita I wanted to see..a carefree ishita, none can blame her now...

It morning

Ishu is sleeping..its 6:30 am..raman has actually turned back the clock....she's shocked to see that she slept off..and ramans off for jogging and asks her to relax so she tries to go back to sleep..but couldn't ..". And then ishu gets it.. the challenge..she's reminded of it...so ishu goes back to bed again..to sleep..as she's the cool saas..but she can't keep quiet..and wonders how aaliya will figure out what people like and don't like.shes worried for aaliya....ishu hon calm down,..just relax, its hard..but eventually you will get it..

But she couldn't sleep and is stressed..its the battle between the mind and heart.. and then thinks about neelu' absence and the chain reaction..this woman couldn't rest and cannot rest..poor girl couldn't interfere..then thinks helping or guiding is not wrong..

Our puttar is gasping for breath...and bumps into appa and bhallaji and they want him to join the laughter club..lol this made me feel ishra are Budda and buddi..

So they start about taking sides with mil and bahu...but raman says..he still young and leavs to run another lap..So it takes time for ishra to settle into their new role.

So ishu heads down to see complete silence ..clean kitchen, and decides to start on breakfast..Gauri and aaliya comes there with idly, chutney...aaliya has also made paratas, and ishu asks for sambhar as romi doesn't eat idly without sambhar..taste test approved...seal of approval...ishu tested and taste approved

So aaliya has a big breakfast ready..so ishu leaves to get ready..

So ishu feels sad that there's nothing left for her to do..all's done...she's having a hard time accepting that alu completed the tasks.

Bala sees raman gasping for breath looks like raman has a muscle pull..and bala scared him saying it could be a fracture as has to be careful in this old age..and raman is miffed...and not accepting it or has a hard time accepting it.

Loved the way ishu showed shagun her place...boundaries set...

Wished raman wasn't influenced by shagun and jumping to conclusions and asked ishita what happened? ..he did have valid point..but this one word shagun from his mouth was a sore. He's having a hard time accepting his aging process.

Ishu might take time to adjust to her new role with not having much to do and be idle ...this is a testing time for her...lets c

Aaliya...for now she's being portrayed as ishita or having traces of her...it's a new role for her, she's going to make mistakes...and eventually might get bored or might start thinking of her career soon...will shagun influence her?

Ishra ...having a hard time accepting or struggling to accept themselves as in laws..reality has hit them..both trying handle it differently
