So I'm incredibly sick and I'm in bed with a splitting migraine, but I was stalking the forum and I couldn't actually wait to get slightly less woozy to write this comment. Sorry it's not going to be my trademark long comment, but I'll try my best 😊
I can't believe you posted this almost a month ago and I just read it!Okay so, I have a really weird relationship with baby fics. I've written my fair share of them, but they're quite hard to write and very easy to criticise so I steer clear of posting them usually. For one, names are a really important thing for me. As strange as it is, I have a set of names that I have for my future children that are actually very close to my heart, so there you go!I may just be a bit of a snob, but I've read stories ages ago that used couple's ship names for baby names. I know people do that in real life, but I just kind of find it off. I recently read one where the author was talking about Shan and Anivaay as names, and I thought that was sweet because it wasn't the direct ship name. But, I've seen people used ShivIka and AnShi as baby names and that makes me cringe heaps. I guess it's just each to their own??On the other hand, I'm not sure if you actually looked your names up, and all, but I love finding meanings of names out. Apparently Sahana is another word for the Goddess Lakshmi? If you did do it on purpose, kudos to you, because I find it really interesting that all of IB's characters seem very purposefully names. Shivaay, Omkara and Rudra are all names for Shiv, while Annika, Ishaana (when she was there) and Saumya are all names for Parvati. Priyanka means amiable and kind (which she is), and Ranveer means winner/dominator (which he is). Jhanvi is another name for Sita, Tej and Shakti mean glow and power (which speaks to which brother may end up being more powerful in the end) respectively, and I have a theory for Pinky's name. It's super convoluted, so don't judge! So Pinky essentially means the last finger on the hand right? Isn't one of Pinky's biggest issues, being neglected, or feeling 'smaller' than others? I told you, it's super contrived 😊The ones I find super interesting are actually the ones of the Kapoor sisters. All three are taken from foreign contexts, Svetlana is russian for light, Tia is greek for dawn, and Romi is latin for sea. How weirdly thought out is that?!Anyways, you got my point. I'm passionate about names, and your characters are fantastically named 😆Getting to the actual story, maybe because I'm sick but I kind of teared up when I read this. Maybe its because PriVeer's happiness feels so far into the future that it's a pleasure to read anything cute and family-like, like your story. To be honest, I thought that PriVeer's storyline was going to be a very Montague-Capulet type thing, where two people from enemy families fall in love, and their journey is essentially convincing their loved ones to accept them. I really did not want a forced marriage track with them, whatever it might do to challenge Shivaay's NKK crap and trigger his final bout of redemption. They can do that in other ways, without ruining PriVeer. Why can't any couple on the show willingly get married, omfg?!I loved how much wittier Priyanka has gotten in your story with the random quip backs with her husband; I really hope that Ranveer is the one that can get Priyanka out of her shell. I look forward to seeing a time where the Oberoi family realise this, that, 'yes, we hate you Ranveer, but yes, you make our daughter shine in her bestest self. So I loved the nuances in this, where you showed us exactly that without telling us.The little exchange between Navdeep and Sahana, and the passing on of Jojo was extremely sweet and very symbolic for me. It was another symbol of the new beginning, and I love it!The fact that Sahana was the name of his sister literally made me cry, so kudos to you for being so smart with the way you wrote this?!I loved that little bit of wit at the end, with the potatoes! I adore babies, but yes, some of them do come out a bit wrinkly 😆Thank you for this fantastic piece + please keep writing! With love,Innika

Very beautifully penned down. This was such a pleasant read. Amazing.Love-Harshada
