RiKara OS : Mai dil Haareya ( 02/06/2017 )

After the investigator left with his assistant, om left gauri and she just moved out and started to leave. "gauri?" om called her and she turned to look at him.

He came to her and siad "thankyou" genuinely feeling thankful of her. "aapko thankyou kehne ki zarurat nahi hai, humne jo bhi kiya, iss parivaar ke liye kiya. Hum yahan aapki madad karne ke liye aaye the, vahi kar rahe hain" she told him but he said " fir bhi, maine kuch zyada hi react kar diya na, tumhe daant bhi diya" as he said this she looked down but then said "nahi galti humari bhi nahi, humein nahi puchna chahiye tha. Aage se nahi puchenge." Omkara kept looking at her and said "guard toh keh raha tha ki tum chali gayi"

"aapna kaha tha ki chali jao, chale gaye the" he smiled almost unnoticeably "toh mai jo bhi kahunga vo, vo karogi?"

"haa, kyun nahi karenge? Aapne humari jaan bachai hai, humari maa ki dekh bhaal kar rahe hain. Aapke aur aapke parivaar ke liye agar humein apni jaan bhi deni pade,toh hum de denge." Hearing this omkara was speechless for a few seconds.

"lekin, main toh tumhe kab se keh raha hun jaane ke liye, toh fir uss waqt gayi kyun nahi?" he asked curious.

"anika bhaujaai ki vajah se. agar hum uss waqt chale jaate na, toh ek baar firse unki saari rasmein ruk jaati, adhoori reh jaati, aur fir shayad kabhi hoti bhi nahi. Isliye nahi jaa rahe the." She said.

"mujhe ek baat batao. Mujhe yeh samjhao ki jab tum chali gayi thi,toh vapis kyun aayi?"

"humne mann toh bana liya tha jane ka, aur chale bhi gaye the. Par vo hoti hai na, chhati indri." She explained to which om corrected her "you mean, sixth sense"

"haa vahi, sixth... sense. Baar baar humein rok rahi thi, aisa lag raha tha jaise aap par koi musibat aane wali hai, isliye hum vapis chale aaye." After this she suddenly started explaining more "vo hota hai na, jiske saath aapka gehra connection hota hai, uspe koi musibat aa jaye ya aane wali hoti hai toh aapko pata chal jata hai. Toh humein pata chal gaya ki aapke.." she broke off suddenly as she realised what she just said. "isliye.. hum aa gaye" she said looking here and there "humare saath hota hai aisa kabhi kabhi" then with nothing more to say she turned to leave but om stopped her again "Gauri"

She froze on spot and then turned, after everything she just said , she couldn't look in his eyes. "kahan jaa rahi ho?"

"vo.. hum maa ji aur priyanka ke paas jaa rahe hain, maa ji kal behosh ho gyi thi aur priyanka kuch kha nahi rahi hain." She informs him and he just nods at her. Gauri leaves but om keeps looking after her then before he can even think his legs start to follow her steps. He knew that gauri has done so much for his family but never accepted the fact that she was not doing this with some ulterior motives.

All the way to priyanka's room, gauri kept thinking if it was the same man, her jatadhari hippie pati. She was confused with his behaviour, he had thanked her and kind of apologised in the same sentence.

Gauri was unknown to his presence behind her. Om was just observing things about her like how she was so small compared to him, how she moved, how her hair flew softly with the wind, how her bangles tinkled as she moved her hand to tuck her hair behind her ear. Why had he never noticed these things about her before, oh yeah! He was blinded by his anger to do that.

"chodh gauri, mat soch iss bare mein, omkara ji ka kya hai, thodi der kuch aisa hoga ki vo tujhpe firse chilla denge" she talked to herself as she reached prinku's room and then knocked on the door.

Gauri went in and saw that prinku was in bed and jhanvi was trying to talk to her into eating food. "priyanka khana kha lijiye na, kal humne aapse kaha tha na, agar aapne sahi kiya hai toh kuch galat nahi hoga aapke saath, vishwas rakhiye." Gauri as she reached her.

"haan bhabhi par.." prinku started but stopped mid-sentence, she looked at jhanvi then at the plate full of food. "mujhe ye nahi khana" gauri laughed as prinku looked at her smiled.

"thik hai toh aap bataiye aapko kya pasand hai, hum harharaike bana late hain aapke liye" gauri asked excited about cooking something for prinku. "rajma chawal" jhanvi answered for her and prinku nodded.

"thik hai toh hum abhi aate hain" gauri smiled at both of them and left the room.

Omkara had witnessed the exchange and was starting to see her in a new light. He realised that maybe she wasn't that bad. Should he give her a chance?

He didn't have much time to ponder on this as gauri was coming towards him. Hurrying up, he hid behind a pillar and watched as she turned the other way.

Gauri was happy, today omkara had thanked her, didn't shout at her and she was able to do something for the members of this family.

She reached the kitchen and the servant asked if she needed any help "nahi aap jaiye hum kar lenge" gauri started with taking out the boiled rajma out of the fridge and soaked some rice in a bowl.

Omkara had followed her again to the kitchen, he watched as she did everything with a smile on her face, moved around the kitchen as if she has worked there all her life.

Then he saw anika coming to the kitchen. As gauri saw anika her smile vanished as if they had some exchange of unspoken words. Gauri smiled again "bhaujaai aap thik hain?" she asked concened about anika, after all shivaay and her had a fight. "haan gauri main thik hun" anika said but she looked lost. Gauri placed her hand on anika's shoulder, reassuring her, "agar koi baat hai toh aap humse keh saqti hain." Anika smiled at her "jaanti hu. Tumne jo kaha tha sab sach hai, mere ghar mei aane ke baad koi tha bahar" anika told her but saw how her face fell, " par tum yeh sab chodo abhi, mujhe ye batao ki kya bana rahi ho?" anika asked and saw as excitement returned to her face.

Om was a bit confused " ye dono kis baare mein baat kar rahe hain" he snapped out of it as he heard them laughing. He looked at them again "haan, pata hai college mein na har hafte 2-3 baar toh canteen mein rajma chawal kha hi leti thi vo." Anika shared her memory with gauri and they both started exchanging their past.

Omkara could only see her laugh, he was mesmerised by her. Now the question was "will he give a chance, hear what she has to say?"

After that om went to his room to work on his statues. Every few minutes he looked at the clock hung on the wall and then looked at the door. "what is taking so long, why isn't she coming to look for me? Vaise toh humesha mere aas paas hoti hai jab main chahta hun ki vo chali jaye, lekin ab? Jab main wait kar raha hun toh aa hi nhi rahi hai" just a bit annoyed, he got up and went to open the door of his room.

As he opened the door, he saw her standing there about to knock as she had raised her fist.

"wo... aapko kuch chahiye?" she asked as she lowered her hand.

"haa... juice. Mausambi ka..." before he could tell her more she cut him mid-sentence "haan jaante hain hum, mausambi ka juice taaza taaza, abhi laate hain" she turns and moves away all the while speaking.

Omkara smiled and went back inside. She reminded him of chulbul but this time he wasn't angry, infact he was thinking of all the lies she told because she was acting as a boy and they always told her/chulbul how she/chulbul looked like a girl. Now thinking about this, he laughed "humein saram aati hai" he mimicked her and resumed his work all the while laughing at the crazy chulbul memories and to think it was gauri all this time.
