Ali

Today i dont know why ali gave such concerned expression when mehtas are thrown out of the house.
i mean nanno neela avni all are very happy but ali expression looks so weird.

I get sense that in near future slowly ali will irritate avneil fans...lol...are cvs wanting it?!? I don't know what's stored for ali role in next!

Hope he doesnt bcm obsessive for avni.

i dont think ali will annoy the fans but will frustrate everyone when he will have difficulties understanding his boundaries as far as avni's relationship with neil is concerned. just like nanno is having difficulties in understanding her boundaries in avni and neela's relationships. they are still holding onto the same relationship they had 15 years back. but avni is not the same as 15 years back. they will need to forge new relationship and rethink their rights and boundaries with this new adult avni- who has other relationships that play a more significant role in her life now. i for one was very glad that neil, knowing ali's love for avni, drew a very clear boundary today- its not your place to tell me what i can and cannot gift my wife aka please dont interfere in our equation. but unfortunately, ali will not see himself as overstepping boundaries till avni spells it out. which she wont till she starts understanding that when you wrong someone, you have to apologize on their terms not your own and respects neil's right to ask her to stay as his wife in a marriage she chose for her own reasons. neela couldnt have forced her into it, if avni didnt have anything to gain from it.

Not just today, but in many scenes where he is meant to be happy at what is going on, he has expressions of worry or shock on his face. I never understand what expression he is meant to be displaying anymore.

What ali doesn't understand is that avni is not the same avni she was 15 years ago. She has different priorities, a different way of thinking, and even has new emotions. The avni he knows now is somewhat emotionally vulnerable, impulsive, is burning in her desire for vengeance, and needs guidance under such a state.

She does not need a puppy who simply follows her around loyally for the sake of unconditional love for her, and coddles her like a baby, but needs a guide, an adviser, who instead of just simply comforting her like ali, actually tells her to toughen up and remind her that she started this fight, so there is no point in crying and cursing her fate.

She doesn't need somebody like ali to be her armour and protect her by pulling her away from tricky situations, but someone who can tell her how to face those problems head on. She doesn't need a follower like ali and nanno who solely consider what avni chooses to do as the right decision, that they must support her on, but rather needs someone who can tell her where she is going wrong and what the right way is.

This is why nanno and ali are not the right people to be the sole support system/ protectors/ guides for this new avni who has waged war against injustice, but only neela and neil are the ones who are truly right for this new avni.

Nanno thinks that she needs to protect avni from all misfortunes that may come her way, and consider only what avni wants for herself as the best option for avni, but in reality, avni needs neela, who can tell her not to back away from a situation just because the going gets tough, but needs to toughen up and keep her emotions intact. She needs somebody like neela who rather than comfort her and mummy her, is actually willing to step away from avni if it would be beneficial to avni and make her stronger.

Ali thinks that friendship means being by your friends side no matter what, but Avni needs somebody who can divert avni's path if it can be detrimental to her. She needs somebody who doesn't blindly follow her orders like ali, but somebody like neil who can give her a reality check that there is another solution to her problems, another way to go about things, and not just her solutions alone are the best. She at best, needs to be surrounded by people who question her decisions and advice her on what is best for her, such as neela and neil.
