Sameera looked at his face he couldn't even lie that he loves her what was she trying for, she thought for herself but even if it means just being by his side it would satisfy her. She knew shes doing wrong but ...she loved him so much that she was ready for anything. Maan felt choked with emotions, but then he could not risk her getting to know about the truth, not knowing that she already knew half of the truth courtesy to Sameera.
On the other hand, Geet went to school and was confronted by an angry Kia, "Where have you been. "I..I was, before she could complete Kia gave her a notebook. "Here the notes for everything that you missed, and don't thank me Dev asked me to do that, you know how tough it is to take notes for a person like me, She said. "Thank you Kia, Geet smiled. "Dev never took an off you know, I don't know what happened between you two but just talk about it, running away is not a solution, She said softly. "We care about you Geet, you made me Naina and Dev worried, Kia told. Geet thought about her words and she was right, she was being a coward running away, she looked up to see Dev, who smiled looking at her and she smiled back.
"Hey, Geet here, Dev said forwarding a parcel to her. She opened it to find a similar photo frame to the one that got broken. "Wow you got that, thank you, She smiled. "Yup, I did, good to see you are happy having it, He said. "So, did you talk to Maan Bhai, He asked. "Not yet he left to America for some work, She said. "Geet you know sometimes I feel there is more than meets the eye, I think hes carrying a burden, He said. "Thank you Dev, for not hating me even after what I did, She said. "Geet, I can never hate you, no one does so please never run away from any situation face them, He smiled and she nodded.
Geet left and Dev watched her but his thoughts were disturbed with the gardener's voice, "The two of you make a good pair. "We broke up, Dev said. "Whattt, why , but just now you were behaving so normally with her, The gardener asked shocked. "Well that is because if I don't smile she will be guilty and blame herself, which I don't want. I still love her and want her happy, He smiled. The gardener really liked the young man before him, but he did agree with his thoughts regarding Geet whom he knew suffered a lot and prayed for her happiness, not knowing the sadness shes going to get today.
Geet entered her house happily and found Yash there. "Hey come on Geet, let's have a barbecue today, He said. "Okay Yash bhai, I will be there in a moment, She said running to her room to get changed and joined Yash in their garden where he set up for the barbecue. "Geet, are you scared of fire too, He asked. "Not really but a little, She said. "Maan hates fire, you know when we had barbecues back at home he used to be careful to put out even the slightest of flame in the fear of burning the house down, He said.

Before Geet could ask why they heard the doorbell. "I will get it, Geet said. Opening the door she found Maan standing with Sameera there. "Geet who is it, Yash said coming out wiping his hands. "Sameera, why are you back, what about your studies, how come Mom let you off that easy or is it you and dad did something again, Yash bombarded her with questions looking at his sister suspiciously."We are getting engaged to be married. Sameera will stay here with us as my future wife, Maan answered this time making both Geet and Yash stare at them in shock. Geet's whole world came crumbling down with this piece of information. "Nope, we are damn serious, he finally accepted my love, Sameera said. "Or you blackmailed him into it, tell me Maan what happened there, Yash asked. "Nothing it is just like she said, I..I think I like her too and I..guess I mean we all know each other since our childhood, Maan said. Yash decided not to say anything further on the matter. "What is the need to get married so soon. you are just 22, Geet said this time unable to control her emotions. Maan looked at her and saw her hurt, but he had to carry this on so he diverted the talks, "Are you gonna keep us standing here. They joined for the barbecue, Maan knew Geet was hurt but did not know the reason why.

They wrapped up everything and all retired to their rooms leaving Maan behind. Geet was feeling restless so she came downstairs and looked at Maan putting out the fire.
"Geet what are you doing here, He asked. "How did our parents die, Came her sudden query. "Arson, He said. "You mean someone lit the fire, She asked. "Yes some guy was arrested, He said. "Geet you should go in its getting cold, He said. "I'm fine here, She said. "You said you wanted to talk about something.., He asked after a while.

"Do you really love Sameera di, She asked all of a sudden catching him off guard.His face turned serious before answering her query.
"Geet...I ..I know you must not be feeling good seeing her but I..I do love her. I'm sorry I said I will stay back here but I guess I have to look after her too, please try to get along with her. I will fulfill my responsibilities towards you before I leave just like dad wanted and you have Dev now too so..., He said. "You will leave me, She smiled sadly. "Its no need you can go back, I will manage, I had thought of living alone from the very beginning anyway, She said running back in. Crying her eyes out in her room, "Its true I wanted to live alone then why does it hurt now... She slept tired of her thoughts.
"I'm leaving, Maan said rushing out. "You did not even have breakfast, here I prepared so much for us, Sameera said. "I'm getting late so forget it, He said trying to leave but she grabbed his arm making him sit on the breakfast table stuffing a toast in his mouth. "Just shut up and eat, She said. Geet saw this and she laughed looking at his mouth stuffed with the toast and Sameera feeding him more, "You two are already like married couples, She commented. They had their breakfast and then rushed out. It has been a week since Sameera and Yash started living with them, everyday she heard their voices but her heart ached seeing them together. She went to her school and Dev saw her gloomy so he asked her the reason, "Maan loves Sameera di, they are getting engaged. "What, that is impossible no one can like a birdbrain like Sameera, He commented making Geet laugh.
"Did you tell him, He asked. "Umm...no, I guess its of no use, She said. "You know you should, He said. She nodded and was left in thoughts. She came back from school and found a mail in the mailbox. She took it and when she entered the house she found the whole decor of the mansion changed. "I redecorated it, how does it look, Sameera chirped. Geet looked around and then her eyes fell on the shelf where their photograph with her mom and his dad was there. She went there and started to look for it to find it missing. "What did you do with the photograph here, why did you remove it, Geet said angrily. "I did not touch it, I swear Geet, She said. "Don't lie you just put all your photographs here, I don't mind that but why did you remove ours it was the only one which had all of us together, She said marching angrily to look for it in other rooms. She was happy when she found it in Maan's room.
She took it and hugged it tightly relieved that it was safe and slept there hugging it. Maan came back and found her there, he was surprised but when he looked at the object she was holding he smiled. He covered her up and hugged her. He put her on his bed and left to her room to sleep. Geet woke up to find herself in Maan's room. She took the new photo frame from her bag and put the photograph in the new frame. She was leaving for school when Sameera noticed that watch still with her. "You have let her borrow that watch for long now, don't you think you should get it back ..., She said to Maan.

As she was coming back from school she received a message from Maan, "If you have time then could you come here. She looked at the photograph he sent and remembered it was where they met. She reached there and found Maan waiting for her there. "Maan, why did you call me here. Is your work done for today, She asked. "We are doing a test today of the project, He said. "You see those arrangements there, they will be announcing the opening soon, He told her. "Great, you have worked really hard, She said looking at the arrangements. "Here, Happy Birthday Geet, He said forwarding a box to her. "You knew my birthday, She asked surprised. "Of course I know, He smiled. "But I never told you, She said. "I know your birthday, I always remembered it, He said. "Can I open it, She said looking at the box. He nodded and she opened it to find a watch there.

Her eyes turned sad, "Yeah...its right I have been borrowing your watch from a long time now. She took out his watch and gave it to him. "Where is Dev, you two are not celebrating, He asked. "We broke up, She told him. Then there were fireworks in the sky saying the same Geet was shocked even Maan too. He called his friends and they accepted that they did this thinking it was a special day for his only family.
"This..., Geet said. "My friends did this, we were going to make the huge announcement but ...I ...I was thinking how to make your birthday special. You are 18 today, I always thought how to make you happy on your birthday then how can you say I don't care for you, He said sadly. "I'm so.., before she could say anything they were surrounded by media, "So young lady how does it feel to be pampered like this on your birthday by the business magnate himself."I..I'm so happy, Geet whimpered. "Are you his friend, The media person asked but Maan covered her, "Please no more questions.
He called his guards and they took the media out. "Gosh who knew they would even call the media, He sighed. "Geet are you alright, He asked finding her sobbing in his arms. "Geet, talk to me, why did things didn't work out between you and Dev, He asked.
He heard her mumble something but was unable to hear it clearly due to the noise, "What, I can't hear you."I love you Maan, He heard her speak shocking him with her confession.
