Guruji played it well.
As much as I was irritated with the constant push-pull of progressive and regressive angles in this track, I must admit beneath the layer of drama there are simple truths being told.
Harish is desperate. Worried for his son, worried about the NY gang. Guruji hit him exactly there.
Harsha - Mom is a mom. Played it on Mayank and she got thinking.
Naren - Can do anything for his quest. Therefore, Point. Shoot.
And he tried to hit Pooja with her weakness today - Mama's health.
And for all the gloating Neelima and Rahul are doing, they can very well be his next targets.
He is very smooth... not easy to pin anything down on him so far. But today he took a bold step to bring out the claws against Pooja infront of Harsha. Pooja is making his task difficult and hence he is desperate. Unknowingly, Pooja is playing HIS mind.
It's amazing how one promise changed Naren so much. I am still wondering. Is it his implicit trust in Pooja which is making him wary and distant with Guruji or has he come across something to make him believe this man ain't right?
The good intent of Pooja makes him let her influence him but where the intent is wrong somehow his mind rejected the influence/play of Guruji on his mind. Like Pooja said few days ago, it's his inherent goodness and clear conscience that always protects him/ leads him back to right track...
And how subtle was that wanting to hear Naren call him Guruji. The weight of the word is very much to Naren... it is not as easily uttered by him as by his father. First making him use that word and eventually make him psychologically submissive to him under it's invisible weight.
Loved how Naren outright rejected it. Has he caught on the intent?đ˛ Yeh toh obvious cheezein hi nahi samajhta...phir ye mind games kaise samajh gaya?
But very interested to see what brought this sudden spark of smartness in Narenđ
