I avoid anti Pakistan movies from bollywood and someone advised me not to watch this movie but since i had time and i love deep sea movies i happen to watch it. It was based on some incident where Indians sank a Pakistani submarine..i dont know if its true or not.
Anyway the good thing about the movie was that for the first time i have seen a water based movie in bollywood. I must say they did a good job of capturing the atmosphere.
The movie copies from famous movie crimson tide where captain is a crackpot renegade while 1st in command is more disciplined and they then have argument etc. It is one of the best water based movies in hollywood. This movie has lots of scenes copied from there. There issue was starting a nuclear war between US and Russia. Here it was India and Pakistan.
Despite this flaw..i will still say that it was refreshing to see such direction. ignoring the politics i think this was very good effort and more submarine movies should be made. It would be interesting to see Hrithik or Aamir as captain of a submarine
