So happy! Even though he is still hell bent on arresting avni, after hearing daya's truth about riya being forced for the marriage so she can save her house and make a deal with prakash, he won't arrest avni for now, as now he will begin investigating dayavanti and all her crimes. Loved the scene in the end with DD where neil did not believe that breaking traffic signal was the only crime she had done and could tell that the records had been tampered with. God knows what he told DD to do after that to find out about daya. One thing is for sure, he now no longer sees daya as innocent and knows she isn't the way she appears.
One thing I don't understand is, that now that he finds out that daya has forced riya for the marriage and daya's ill intentions behind getting him and riya married, why does he still silently choose to sit in the mandap for marriage and even goes through with the marriage? I didn't understand this!
Today's episode made the latest on location of neela and neil talking make complete sense. In that, neil threatens to arrest avni, and neela asks him then why hasn't he arrested her yet, and she says it is because he is in love with avni, which he denies. After seeing today's episode I now understand that it is because he is now investigating daya and like he said in today's episode himself, he doesn't want to end up arresting an innocent person, so obviously he won't arrest her so he can investigate daya.
I think now i am much more confident that when the bride swap is revealed, he won't be super mad and reject avni. From what I saw of the on locations, he didn't look even in the slightest bit annoyed when avni was unveiled by daya. He just looked either surprised or was entirely quiet. Riya was teary eyed, but she wasn't angry, at least that isn't what it appears to be. Shweta was obviously really mad, but her anger seemed mostly directed at daya, although we couldn't hear what was she saying.
Today's epi and the on location vids from today all give me good vibes that neil will accept avni, although he won't be happy.
