The trailer of Raabta looks strikingly similar to Magadheera, and hence the producer Allu Arvind has decided to take it up legally.
After the trailer of Sushanth Singh Rajput and Kriti Sannon starrer Raabta was released, there was a feeling amongst viewers that it looked like a remake of Magadheera. And as more publicity material came out, the speculations started going very high about the it. And looks like it is getting more worse than anticipated by the makers of Raabta. The producer of Magadheera, Allu Arvind has taken up the matter in court and has filed a case of injunction against the producers of Raabta.
Geetha Arts, run by Allu Arvind, released an official statement today confirming the legal battle with the makers of Raabta. "This is to inform to the large public that we, Geetha Arts the original makers of the film Magadheera felt through various sources including the trailer and publicity material that the Hindi film Raabta' is being remade violating the copy rights. Hence we approached the Hyderabad court seeking injunction against the film's release. The Hyderabad court issues notice to Raabta producers and pasted the matter for 1st June to decide whether Raabta should be permitted to release."
