New viewer with theory...

So I recently started watching this show half way and have now started from the beginning. And it's great!

This whole dusky duffer thing. Here are my thoughts.

You know how in movies and shows...They show two best friends and one falls for the other? And the other says, "no I only see you as a friend" but then as time passes he/she realizes they are actually in love with their best friend?
I think that's what's happening here.

Arjun claims to love dusky as a friend but his actions show otherwise...

1. Dusky is broken down so Arjun says I can't stay strong either. (During the whole shower scene yesterday). Yes friends feel bad for friends but that doesn't mean their whole world is shattered. His future typical desi serial dialogue will be: "Why do I feel so strongly about her..why does my world change when hers do...am I in love with her?"

2. He's constantly thinking of dusky. At the beginning few episodes when she called him for everything. She seemed like a nagging wife! But what's interesting is the first face he thinks of in the morning is dusky. Another typical Bollywood sign of true love.

3. He keeps saying, "we're just friend we're just friends." It feels like he's convincing himself more than maya.

4. It seems like he's with maya cus he's obligated cus of baby & he's damn scared that she's going to do something to his family/friends if she can't have him. He's basically sacrificing his life and happiness cus of that fear. He's doing that for a friend? Umm hard to believe it's just a friend!

Phewf ok I'm done. Loving this dilemma and obsessive love on this show! Everything is so extreme and acting is awesome too.

So is this an ongoing conversation in this forum? Or am I seeing things..?

Well I had observed it since the beginning of the show. Arjun and Saanjh connection is deep from childhood. There were almost like soulmates or each should I say each others lifelines. But the moment maya entered she did try to manipulate into arjun loving her. But arjun genuinely loved maya but their relationship never grew because maya only wanted to control arjun. ArYa is unhealthy while saajun is unbreakable.

Ya I felt the same way too.. probably if she had told him before Maya did.. he would've chosen her just out of friendship...

Saanjh never came between Arjun and Maya.

i think not..its too much predictible story that you are telling..i think there's a lot more has to come in this story beyhadh..😉
