I KNOW...that you have probably seen posts like this a million and one times...but I don't care I need to get this off my chest...Let me just begin by saying
WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING TO MAYA'S CHARACTER!!!!!!!. I mean let the audience breath. In every single episode she does something negative, EVERY . SINGLE . EPISODE. I mean let the audience take a breath. You cant even take a breath before seeing her doing something evil again. I mean in season 1 we established that she was crazy... but cmon!!! NOW SHES CRAZZYYY. I'm not saying she wasn't negative in season 1. She was. But not to this extent. I mean atleast when she did something bad she acknowledged the fact, now she just shows arrogance. I hope the child has been brought into the story for the purpose of calming her character down and moving her towards GOOD. Obviously even if she were to turn good this wouldn't erase all the rubbish she has done. She should pay for that. But I want nothing more then her character to become a little good again. She doesn't have to be another Saanj ...but just a LITTLE GOODDD. There were instances in season 1 where she was genuinely lovely and I loved her during those moments. For instance, when she tried to put out the fire on Saanj's dupatta. She did not do that to look good infront of Arjun ...her actions were not motivated by selfish reasons...she genuinely cared. I want to see a glimpse of that again.
Its hard to predict where the story is going. I Hope they don't continue to make Maya's character darker. At the moment she doesn't give a damn about anyone or anything except Arjun. Season 1 ended with Maya losing her baby. This kick started the journey to the Maya we see today. On the brink of season 2 ending...Maya is once again pregnant. Lets hope this kick starts her journey to GOOD.
