it was beautiful to watch Shivaay's journey into becoming a family man, redeeming himself of the past follies he refuses to speak about.
He can barely tolerate this Nayantara woman. (her finger licking at the dinner table seemed to bug him a lot. )
Curiously he is allowing his mother to be disrespected openly by this woman, in contrast with shielding Annika from her. To the point of almost saying NT can have whichever room she so wished in the house; Pinky knowing full well which exact room she would be eyeing for.
Complete disregard for his mother's discomfort is strange. Is it because he has been like this since the night Annika got shot? Or he knows that his mother has a hand in all this. OR that he is fed up of his mother's lack of grace about her high class and snootiness.
Are Shivaay and Annika mirroring each other as they look down upon their "mother's" , real or adopted or fake. Then sorry to say ,they are both quite snobby themselves, right?
Annika shares a touching moment with Dadi. Dadi is comforting ,loving and generous with love; Annika's ideal version of motherhood. it was so touching to see her get some TLC from someone genuine. Forget about Pinky, Annika, that woman will never change.
Annika realizes quickly that Shivaay is concealing something from her, and even tried to tell her subtly. She plays along and even surprises Shivaay by accepting her fake mother just as he asked her to.
That sms conversation was a novel way of communication, hahaha.. Nakuul and Surbhi had little by way of expression but did well enough to convey the current situation.
Shivaay asks her if she trusts him. Lovely moment, she replies "More than myself".
"Then trust me"
sigh...
Shivaay is scouring the city looking for Sahil, who has been kidnapped. Being at the brink of death and danger, at the hands of someone else with all that fear in the heart. I hope he gets Sahil back safely.
Because he is going through everything he did to Annika at the time of the wedding. See if you can behave as gracefully as she did afterwards Shivaay.
I love how their bond gets stronger with passing tracks. He looks weary in the precap , I'm so looking forward to this scene.
Pinch of salt : I'm reducing my expectations of the Mahaepisode Week. it's going to be a big pot of too many characters and plots. Don't expect too much. I suspect it's to boost the sister show ratings, as well as have Om's wedding rituals with his brothers. That'll be fun. Buama though, I hope the spoilers are wrong. I kinda like her a lot.
