Star Plus' afternoon slot has worked wonders for the channel, with the original offerings proving a huge success, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The biggest show of the afternoon on UK Asian TV on Monday was Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji', which clocked up 46,400 viewers at 13:00 - peaking at 57,400 viewers, followed by Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee' at 13:30 with 28,200 viewers and Meri Durga' at 12:30 with 26,900 viewers. New show Love Ka Hai Intezar' at 14:30 opened up with around 9,000 viewers.😲
