Saumiee, wonderful post as usual. I agree that the episodes were a little flat. There should have been less drama. But I think since these episodes were similar to infertility track and very sensitive, they tried to not take the same route as the infertility track, where most people hated that a topic such as infertility was portrayed so callously. They wanted to bring Ishwari from negative to positive. To remind people of her struggles as a single mother of 4 children who had to fight for survival.
Dev will not put his mom on pedestal nor call her God anymore as he has already accepted the real God and bowed down to him. He now considers his mom as "mom" and loves and respects her. The reason why it was shown that Sonakshi did this is because of her guilt. Like she kept saying in yesterday's episode, "main sub kuch teek karna chahthithi". When Sonakshi saw that Dev took the blame of theft for her brother, her family and then learnt about him leaving Ishwari and staying away from her and seeing Dev do all that he did for Soha, made Sona feel guilty about a couple of things. One of them is not trusting Dev or their love, the other is hiding Soha from Dev. I am not blaming Sonakshi in any way, just pointing to her feelings. She wanted to mend Dev and Ishwari's relation not just for Dev's sake. but also for Soha's sake. So that she can get the true love of Ishwari.
Another important thing to realize is that in KRPKAB, usually parallels are shown. Last year during the first week of May, Sonakshi's accident was shown following which she was shown to realize that she loves Dev. It was actually on 3rd May that Sonakshi realizes that she loves him. Then it is on 9th June that Dev realizes that he loves Sonakshi when his sisters help him reflect. He proposes to her 3 episodes later.
Going by the current episodes, by his actions during her accident, Bijoy was super impressed with Dev. At that time Dev says anyone would have done what he did, but Bijoy says not many people would do what he did. This is very similar to what Sonakshi said today that "truth had to come out. Anybody in her place would have done what she did". And based on tomorrows precap, Ishwari will reply similar to Bijoy that she did something that not even her kids could do.
Coming to this year, it is on 3rd May that Dev confessed to Sonakshi that he still loves her, that he wants her to come back to him. Right now Sonakshi is in a very similar place to Dev in 2 ways. One is like how kind of clueless he was during Natasha track. i.e. he did not really know that he loved Sonakshi, but knew she was important to him. The other is how Dev felt after Ishwari popped sleeping pills and he had to break up with her. Right now she thinks that she no longer loves Dev. Also she is bound to her promise to Bijoy. If we follow the pattern of last year, then the CVs have around 3 weeks for Sonakshi's realization that she cannot live without Dev. In this 3 weeks they have to show her as how Dev was in both the above tracks. i.e. She should be torn between her happiness and Bijoy's and jealous like how Dev was during Ritwick track. As well as be clueless as to why she is feeling that way about Dev similar to how Dev was during Natasha track (Hope I made sense in what I wanted to convey 😳 ). She has to feel both these conflicting feelings.
This is where the paths are leading to and I think the CVs are trying to match the dates. 😉 . Just my pov.
