Hi,

I just wanna talk about Mahek. What is she doing? She looks like an obsessed soul completely blind and senseless in "love". We have got the point till now that she has no self respect when it comes to Shaurya. No matter WHAT he does to her, even if he tried to murder her, she'd forgive him. But now, she doesn't even care about her own family? Her chachi fell today, and everyone was concerned for her, asking her if she's fine but Mahek was more concerned about her Chura being broken and the so called bad omen. Seriously? Instead of at least showing some concern, she left from there. All she cares about is shaurya and his family now. And man, she can go to ANY extent to please them. shaurya's maasi was insulting her family and his father talked about them like they were trash. But, not once she stopped him or said anything. Rather she was praising him! What is she? I'd really expect her to at least take a stand for her family when they are being treated like trash. But no, all she is worried, is about her marriage, shaurya, Shaurya's relatives and shaurya.

Seriously, CV's what are you trying to portrait? That a girl should be like her? Forget everything, her self respect, her family and HERSELF after falling in love?

PS: I thought the show was about paying tribute to housewives and girls who love to cook for themselves, family and others. Acknowledging their efforts and talent and art of cooking.

I didn't know it'd eventually be about an obsessed, too good to be real, girl whose whole life revolves around running behind an egoistic guy and the path to change him and his family.

Ya I agree with u. She is totally a dumb. Have no self respect 😕not even for her family. Always become cause for their insult. Cvs should think about it.

Cvs are not consistent with character portray , they sometimes show Mehak fighting for self respect for her and her family and sometimes listens to all nuisance, even Shaurya when HK was saying bad about sharma family he was right over there but didn't utter a single word... Usually Shaurya's character always replies back...

Characters don't make any sense. Nothing is properly shaped. I guess, Nehal first use to dislike Mahek and always mocked at her for being fat. Idk how she changed suddenly. Was there any episode or idk. Shaurya's father character is not clear. He should be antagonist but CV's are not completely portraying him that way. A man who didn't even care about his dying wife and had left his own son until Karuna brought him home, how can he love them now (As Mahek claimed)? Why is he given so much importance? Why didn't Karona divorce him after knowing his truth?

And Mahek has never really shown any self respect. She's always been that docile, submissive girl, she never really fights for the right thing. Anyone can easily control her. But she used to at least respect her family until shaurya left her at the wedding venue and she decided to live with him forcefully. Since then, it's just Shaurya.

True the characters keep on changing their roles. Like I do not understand how come Vicky and shaurya got along well,Vicky used to call Mahek by her name and suddenly he calls her bhabi,Mahek earlier used to stand for herself for her family now all she cares about is pleasing those evil creatures of shaurya's family

The less said about Mahek's characterization is the better. She has no self respect, a proven fact. What irritates me to the most is that she continously chants family jaap but at the same time gives two hoots to the continous insults/humiliations being dished out to her same family by either Shaurya (during "Shaurya, The Villain" track) or his family (in the current episodes). Honestly, post ISC track, it has been a downward spiral for her character. In fact for each and every character, it has been sort of a Tangent graph, a plunge towards negative infinity.

Haven't seen u post before or may be i haven't seen it

I started watching this show because of its concept and main character Mehak...While watching it along it already has forgotten about its core concept cooking, now coming to MS while u pointing her out for criticism in my eyes is just not fair,blame it on CVs no character has been consistent in this show,when i started it the way KC used to speak it felt like she was like a step mother to MS talking about how they wont spend any of their own money on her marriage rather spend what her father left and then she became all this loving motherly type which we all liked and then the recent evil avatar of hers where she hurt MS mentally and physically and now again she has become all motherly type.

Now that is just one character...Look at SK from bein a manipulative,cunning, smart businessman who was always one step ahead than others,his brain has suddenly stopped functioning with him being in love and his character if u followed from the start wouldnt be the one to get tattos to prove his love and force a girl into going thru rituals with him(u mentioned MS part of forcefully living in his house should have mentioned this also) and also while at WC party he was shown as an obsessed lover he wasn't reacting in that way when she was about to be killed,that obsessive lover who by just seeing a scratch on her hand went mad was not reacting that way on finding out about an attempt of murder on her.

Coming to MS she has proved a lot of times her love for her family and stood up for them for which then ppl blamed her.Like when she was in KM which i didnt like ppl said she lacked self respect and they were right but CVs played it that way so that he realises that he loves her,poor on their part and then when she refused to go against her family when he was forcing her into marry him then ppl complained she cant stand for herself and lets others take their decision for her

You can't please ppl no matter what and thats CVs blunder with them playing with the characters all the time rather than keeping them consistent

There are other characters as well which have turned 180

Vicky, Nehal...and u know about how much they changed them u cant believe these are the characters that we watched at the start

So my point is never expect any character consistency,all other characters have changed shades so much i will give MS character that little change because they have to take the story forward in their dumb way and KC tripping was just to bring that bad omen thing into play and then getting the leads together to have chuda scene 😆

Yes, Vicky! I knew I was forgetting somebody. His character completely changed. I remember just some episodes before, Shaurya was feeding him something forcefully, something which Mami gave Mahek which caused her to show symptoms of pregnancy and then suddenly out of nowhere, he became Laxman. CV's even seem to forget that he's married with shruti lol

Till date I fail to understand how Vicky and shaurya grew close. Yess they have totally forgotten that he's married ,and Sanjay has gone underground ever since mehrya's first wedding 😆

True and sensible post 👏.. Actually serial is become total senseless and stupid that's why trp is dropping week by week...

Anyways character like Shaurya can only like a submissive girl who he can easily control he can never like a strong girl according to me. For me neither Mehek character is inspiring nor Shaurya character. Mehek has ample of time and patience to do social work first reform Shaurya and now his family. Better she focus on her career and become successful business women and can show Harish Khanna and family how strong she is.
