right, i know this is not that funny, but all the people that post jokes about sardar people need to get a grip. i don't understand why the joke can't be told without the small word 'sardar', in my words, referring to someone as a sardar is simply another word for 'sikh', i mean it doesn't add a bit to the jokes, but can offend other people.

so plz be careful!

There are sites filled with sardar jokes on internet my friend and it has become a kind of trend to use the word sardar in jokes and these're just jokes its not necessary that anyone here posting sardar jokes is against the sikh community.

it not about being a sikh or not, or even about being AGAINST the sikh community, i was pointing out the fact that some jokes can be offensive, and if some sardar people find the joke funny than some DO find them offensive, that obviously depends on the type of joke itself.

'kareena's world', its fine to post what you feel, as i posted what i felt, but i guess everyone is different and i'm not at all offended by what you said, but that doesn't mean i agree with you either, lol

but my point still remains that adding the word 'sardar' doesn't make the joke any funnier, it can be told without it.😊

Hey bubles I don't think that the people who are making the Sardar jokes are trying to offend the sikh community in anyway. Jokes are meant to make people laugh not make them feel ofended. Some people may find the joke funny and some might not. Besides you can't really stop the people who are making the jokes stop making them. People want to hear those kinds of jokes. i can understand what you are trying to say but as Shahid lover 24 had said THAT Sardar is the Icing on the cake its actually true. People who are making the jokes are just trying to make the joke a little more funnier. And I said earlier some might find it funny and some might not. Its the way you look at it.😊
