Maya's crimes before Ashwin's murder

What was Ashwin blackmailing Jhanvi about?...Maya has obviously committed some heinous crimes in the past for which Ashwin was blackmailing Jhanvi...

I am curious too, but at the same time I am wondering if she was always so capable and dangerous why the heck did she wait till her wedding to do the honours.

Also, during Maya & Ashwin's convo just before his murder, Maya reminded Ashwin of what "she could do or what she was capable of"...Ashwin had mentioned long back that Maya's past crimes could have her jailed for 20-25 years...that is suggestive of serious crime/crimes/murders/etc...

In short, Vandana was the only person who saw through Maya's facade from the beginning & all her fears have turned out to be true...& even more...😲

(I seriously wonder as to what role Saanjh & Vandana could have played in those past crimes of Maya which Ashwin was talking about 😉 😆...even before meeting Maya, that is 😆 )

Maya is a criminal which almost everyone has by now accepted, I assume !
The question now is how hardened criminal she will turn out to be!
A serial killer or a professional one (She came to kill Ashwin armed with a new weapon -use of syringe for injecting air in blood circulation is a novelty which is not commonly known) & perhaps, even both!

A serial killer is usually driven by emotive issues like a psycho & a professional one is a good thinker & method player! Very rarely, we get to hear about a combo of the two as well!
Our fear is that she is yet to reach her peak form!

So, the past record from childhood will be very pertinent to understand her mindset! If both parents were convinced, who else will be needed to certify her conduct?

Her associate Samay is another hardened criminal, who stays in touch with her for quite sometime!

Honestly, the kind of person that Ashwin was, Maya killing him would still not be a major kind of crime given that Maya did recall all the torture too while killing Ashwin indicating her actions were somewhat driven by Ashwin's attyachar on her mom n herself ; though she clarified main motive was for Ashwin attempting to kill Arjun..

But, Panditji of Mauritius and other crimes before she met Arjun, Vandu or Saanjh are still a mystery to be solved.. I.e. If CVs ever remember these words and deeds...

She attacked Ashwin at least one occasion before (one or two episodes before when she jumped from the bridge into water). Ashwin's handicap was due to Maya! May be, Jhanvi prevented it happening every time before it got out of hand!

But, once Arjun's life was under threat, Maya could not be stopped! So it had to happen on the fateful day, when she was suspecting Ashwin that he was up to something!

Could be! We need more info on Samay to judge his character!

Samay!! As mentioned, his behaviour even when no one is watching, and monologues just confirm, he is another crazy character in the show, but not sure if he could be deeply dangerous to good people in the show, including Saanjh and Prem-Suman.

I am not sure if anyone else noticed, that seriousness on his face in Friday's episode when Prem was talking to him, and emotionally requested him to never break the trust and heart of Saanjh. He did have some soft look, which made me feel... umm... GOOD for some reason... it may have been just for a millisecond, but he did have that look of "Guilt" on his face... I am hoping him to see some change in his character, and genuinely help Saanjh out of the mess...

He is shown to be psycho and mad, but he cannot really be compared to Maya for now. Maya is shown to be cunning... very cunning. Whereas Samay is just a puppet; had he been cunning in love like Maya, he would have planned out to not separate Maya and Arjun using Saanjh and not vice versa.
