Guys, I'd like to know what you think.

I post almost everyday my take on the episode. Because it will be way past midnight for me, if I wait till 10pm India time, I've been posting early.

What I'd like to know is does my update keep people from watching the episode on TV in India? If it does , then I'll wait till 10pm India time and post.

IB team is working so hard, we should help them out and not spoil it for them.

let's help them get the TRPs they deserve! ❤️

Let me know what you think?

from myself: From today, I will post my review after the episode has aired on TV in India.

Its not because of your post or IPL.

The problem is CVS are not meeting with audience expectations.

Annika shoot week was not as expected .
Jungle track was not as expected.
Pinky becoming TRP aunty was saas , etc, etc.

I may be wrong here.

I think the other problem is that the episodes gets leaked on youtube and even if the episode has been boring or bad I always look forward to reading ur post bcos it is always positive.
Frankly I am not convinced that our trps can fall so low that it is directly out of top 20. That's a huge fall

yeah, I watch on Hotstar but I hear even that is dipping?

I don't think so, content has been awesome the past few weeks.

do you think detailed caps and WUs cause reduced interest?

i personally am not deterred by your post didi😊 in fact your posts were one of the main reasons i survived shitia shaadi track part 2😊
but honestly i am one of the black sheeps who have stopped watching ishqbaaz since monday due to personal issues and too much pinky and naintara i have refrained myself from watching ishqbaaz and any posts related to episodes and even not active in twitter for my peace of mind but seeing today's trp riot, i feel i must just keep my michmichis aside and must watch the show. its high time i stop getting personal with this show😕 i dont want such brilliance go down the drain😊

i happened to read this before a few minutes, excerpts from gul khan's interview to india forums,

Currently, with the new boom in digital space, do you think your target audience has changed and you have to make tweaks to cater to both digital and BARC audience?

The online audience is very limited as a lot of people don't understand this concept much yet. And what still counts is BARC ratings as that's what distributors make a count of and that's the criteria for makers to do well. So digital is very irrelevant because it doesn't count. We don't earn anything extra because Ishqbaaaz is topping the charts on Hotstar. We have to perform on BARC. Maybe eventually it (Hotstar) will count after a few years, but as of now, we can't focus on it until it is translating into money.

But, doesn't digital give you a better audience reach?

They are not the audience since they are not counted in the ratings. They don't watch it on television timings. They watch it on personal devices, now whether they liked or disliked the content, does not contribute to the ratings. We are not making shows for the digital audience, we are making the shows for BARC audience and we are very clear.

For example, we started Ishqbaaz with a very 'Dil Chahta Hai' feel...like there was this Mallika track, the bromance track where the three brothers would cook together and talk about women in their lives. While people online went gaga over it, Star Plus told us that if we did not cross a certain rating, they will shut the show. So while everyone was thoroughly enjoying the whole story line, the show was on the verge of shutting down. That's the level of disconnect between online and television audience. BARC is the only criteria for a show's success.

Do you think that success should be focused only on BARC ratings, or will it eventually widen to other platforms?

I don't think that will happen anytime soon in India. Star shares a lot of data. And as per that data, BARC is going progressively interior. They are facing a problem with paid channel. So, people in India have a problem with paid content. And till they do not pay and watch, digital will never work. People are used to watching free Television, so that is a huge roadblock for us to get into that space.

CONCLUSION : TRP MATTERS AND ONLY BARC TRP MATTERS. SO I REQUEST ALL THE ONLINE VIEWERS TO WATCH ISHQBAAAZ ON STAR PLUS. THATS THE LEAST WE CAN DO TO SAVE SUCH A LOVELY SHOW😭

I'm not from India I'm From UK.I don't think it's because of your post...your post are awesome sometimes it's better then actual episode...something your post makes me watch episode again...plus in India it's IPL is going on so it's only because of the. So don't worry and keep making awesome posts. 😃
As I'm not from India so I don't really contribute in trp but I do watch it on tv as in UK IB is the number one show.

unconventional has been the MO for ishqbaaaz has it not?

why compromise to dish out trope to get numbers?

who likes evil saas and bahu drama? supposedly TRP audience right?

but they seem to like supernatural trope 😕 Dear God.

No need for highest TRP, but decent enough TRP is great

Hotsar has dipped Anisa. We're down to no 3 from no 1 and chances of going down to 4 are high.

I don't think its detailed WUs and pics - that have ALWAYS been there.

Let's face it - despite the awesome jungle track, we all felt something was missing. Cute and funny romance is good but problem-free ShivIka, regardless of what we onliners want, is not something TRP audiences want to watch.

We need drama - SHIVIKA focused drama. Currently the track is more Pinky and Shivaay focused. And Anika but all individually. We need something like ML track where ShivIka were the center of attention.

Yeah, people are saying there's a problem with the list. Some saying TRP might actually be stable at 1.7. others saying 1.5. So let's wait a bit
