Aru's mom! A woman who is not just weak but raised another extremely selfish child. Someone who is ready to sacrifice her daughter for the fault which was partly their and partly Dharmi's.

Her calling Dharmi "Nasamajh" is making her sound like a child. It is not just stupidity (nasamajhi), it is extremely selfish and petulant behaviour of Dharmi. Instead of taking the responsibility of it, she is trying to find an easy way out of the situation by taking a person for granted. The same person whom she has taken for granted all her life.

It's appalling how she thinks this will solve anything?? Lets just look at some of the lead-up to this marriage.
1. Mukhi didn't want to marry Dharmi.
2. Aru didn't want Mukhi to marry Dharmi because she is aware of her sister's character. She knows that it is Dharmi who does not deserve Mukhi because she still feels for Anshul.
3. Just a few days before, Dharmi was caught inside a fitting room with her ex. Whom she keeps harassing day after day.
4. Even the chachi, who is one of the worst, knows exactly which sister is the dependable one and who isn't. She tells Aru that her entire family is dependent on her.

Mishri is an outsider. It was natural for her to think that if Aru is such a great person, Dharmi is probably just as good. I found it super hilarious that she was actually asking Mishri for her brother's hand in marriage...like what the heck?? She would have probably accepted anyone at that point to save his reputation...on top of that, she's obviously mad at their family for what Dharmi did and this makes up for it.

Dharmi's mom is pretty stupid too. Aru is the sole breadwinner in the family, who works various small jobs to provide for them financially. By sacrificing to marriage, are the parents expecting to sit out on the streets for their whole lives? Even the brother won't take them back and they don't have anyone to pay rent for them.

Of course the most important thing is that Aru herself does not want to marry him. She respects him but she has made it very clear that she has no intention of marrying anytime soon, and definitely not to Mukhi.

Ughhh. What the hell mom

Goodness, you don't need enemies when you have mom who is hellbent on offering her younger daughter to rectify the situation created by the stupid older one.
WTH is wrong with everyone. Aru had so many dreams.
Her mom crushed it with her decision!!

The worst part is that it doesn't solve anything at all!! Aru definitely does not want this marriage, and i'm pretty sure Mukhi has no interest in marriage other than to give in to his sister's demands. Nobody's face is being saved here - Aru is being offered like a sacrifice while Mukhi will also face problems when people realise who the actual dulhaan is...what will the parents do then?? "Sorry guys my 1st daughter ran away so here is my 2nd"?? I'm already thinking the worst...where Aru gets all the blame...throughout the rituals there was always abshagun of her taking her sister's things...now everyone will say Aru herself planned these to become Mukhiyaani...what will these useless parents do then??

well said a total mess created by arus mom like literally women ...the worst parents can ever see on tv ..like dude...huh my blood literally boiled at her dialougue and attitude simply Aru is the most unfortunate child ...she have to bear her family behaviour all the time be it her sisters antics or family problems...Arus called him family but reality is they treat her as only source of income...i am forced to say that...😡

So aptly put!

I also noticed that when Rasika found out Anshul was still talking to Dharmi she threaten to tell Aru.

It was an interesting scene.

I do not find her entirely wrong. It seems that they must have been free loaders before Aru started earning.
