Totally non-romantically, me and my best friend did this all the time when we were in school. She'd come to my place, or I'd go to hers, and each would go to drop the other to the bus stop, and we'd be gone for an hour or two, merrily chatting at the bus stop missing bus after bus. Even then, our most meaningful
conversations and giggly chattering happened during dropping each other off, so I've always known and valued the possibility provided in dropping someone home!
