And why blame the CV for what Suraj did. Suraj doesn't exist, he is the creation of CV. When we criticize Suraj, we are actually referring to the product of their work, which is the story. We should never forget that Suraj doesn't exist! If we have to put the blame on CV for every wrong done by Suraj, then we can do the same with the other characters as well, don't we? Like, KN was never bad is just the CV who made him bad, Ragni was also good but those CV made her evil, Vivaan is also good, but again, we should blame CV for his actions, and the list goes on.

There is just one truth is all of this: Udaan is a badly written story. They started with a good idea but they didn't know how to carry it further.

What you tried to say about Suraj... I think you are right... this was their intention... but they didn't know how to put it on the screen, they didn't know how to deliver their message, they wanted us to feel sympathy for Suraj, but in turned out the opposite because he is hurting too many people in the process. They should have thought it more deeply. It is not about you or I being right, is about a story which lost its focus and that is what the people are complaining about.

Suraj too shall be declared a hero, a noble soul, a true lover.

but i as a former Suraj'ian will be left forever disgusted at the Im and Raj angle, their friendship, their bond and their complete and utter lack of consideration for their respective spouses feelings and sentiments. and now Suraj's 'sacrifice' for Imli. (say FOR chakor and pardon me i might laugh. not being mean. just truthful).

if Suraj and Imli's friendship, hugs and whatever they are doing for each other is pure...
why did we trash Chakor when she hugged Vivaan when he broke down during his impotence track?
why is Chakor lynched for supporting and standing by her best friend?

atleast Chakor and Vivaan never got cozy in the back seat of a car.
never shared a physical relationship.
not are they freely sharing hugs and happiness with each other.

i am a SuKor'ian and i loved Suraj more than Chakor. heck i loved ONLY Suraj when i started.
but when it came to loving with all her heart and soul with everything she has got... i will vote for Chakor. Suraj is her beginning, middle and the end.
Suraj simply failed me there.

this story had SO much potential and Suraj as a character was a character for a lifetime.
criminally wasted opportunity.
both the story and the character are gone. atleast for me.
not being negative or bashing... simply being realistic.
