I'm not disappointed by the absence of romance or by the presence of melodrama. Both are fine. What left me disappointed was the acting - Nani's, Mami's, Vicky's and most of all Shaurya's. I may be the only one with this opinion, but I wouldn't have minded a longer scene with Mami. She has been a negative presence in the show from day 1, always skirting the boundary between what she could get away with saying and what would get her thrown out of the house. Earlier once Shaurya had revoked all her credit card privileges if I remember correctly. But in the last episode she lost complete control, which made sense when you thought about how she had just learnt that it was now Mehak who was owner of all the property. Her climactic scene with her insulting all of them one by one - first Shaurya, then pushing Karuna, then insulting Mehak - and then getting thrown out of the house, could have had far more impact.

Also, Svetlana wasn't at Mehak's house when the news of the transfer of property were revealed, so obviously Nani told her. At least Karuna could have realised this, if not the super clever main leads!
