Election of apex body of film and television artists CINTAA was held on 7th April, 2017. Sushant Singh, Manoj Tiwari, Amit Behl, Abhay Bhargava, Raza Murad are the few prominent names among the elected members this year. The president and general secretary of CINTAA will be selected by these elected members in the next executive session. Incidentally, veteran actor Om Puri served as the president of CINTAA and the post was vacant after his sudden demise early this year. Abhay ji and Divyanka both ran for CINTAA in 2015. That's two years ago but seems like yesterday.How time flies...!! Anyway, congratulations Abhay ji.
