I feel the cvs sometimes mess up with the conception of certain scenes. The entry and exit from some scenes feels so jerky that we end up feeling that the particular scene was totally unnecessary. Why are they always in a rush to end the pleasant scenes or tracks? It happened with the jungle scene last week and they did it again with the trial room scene. They induced those scenes to convey something symbolically, but it is important to make the process smooth so that the scene doesn't end up looking forced and foolish. They have to drag until the end of IPL anyway, so why not linger in pleasant tracks longer and rush with the unpleasant (read Nani) tracks. I wouldn't have complained if they stayed in that jungle hut the whole of the last week! No I didn't mean Shaurya to be shirtless and Mahek to be bottomless for the whole week! What I meant was they could have stretched that jungle stay a little longer by taking some inspiration from "Qayamat se Qayamat tak". This week too, Couldn't they conceive the trial room scene better and linger on road side chai scene longer! I could watch something cute and pleasant instead of these headaches named Nani, Mami and Conta. Until last week, Conta was unbearable and now that she became pleasant again, they doubled up on the unpleasant with Mami and Nani this week!

Svetlana, as always in her own nasty way, tries to make people face the reality. It doesn't change the fact that she is nasty. Lets be clear about that. She gets thrown out of the party. Thats good. Meera's portrait in White Chillies and the cookbook in her name was really a heartwarming gesture. This guy knows how to charm people! The possessive, overprotective Shaurya throwing fists at his slime ball business partner for misbehaving with Mahek was all fine until he became a blood sucking vampire at the Sharma house. Loved how Mahek walked out of the party disgusted with how Shaurya made a spectacle of her, though unintentionally. I loved how Shaurya came to pacify her. Loved how Mahek gave him a piece of her mind. But the pushing, pinning, hurting and sucking the blood spoiled it. Did the makers think that this kind of romance would be hot? Honestly, I found the simple reassuring hug from Mahek, asking him what was the need to fight for her when he knows that she belongs only to him, hotter. Did I give a miss to all the suspense around the past? Yes I did. I am not interested because it would turn out to be a phuski bomb. If Shaurya actually caused the accident, then it is ridiculous to expect a girl to marry someone who caused the death of her parents and live happily ever after. We may forgive and move on, but we cannot live with a person who caused so much misery in our lives! So I will just wait for them to reveal the suspense and then decide, rather than making predictions.

It's Shaurya's Birthday! So he is a Taurus like someone! Taureans are real, sexy and awesome! Did I ever tell you that humility is my strong point? So he lost his mother on his birthday. That's sad. Mahek plans a surprise birthday celebration for him. That's sweet. They go shopping! He put a safety pin on her dress. Why didn't she walk back into the trial room? Why do they conceive stupid scenes just for the sake of symbolism? What was the symbolism again?! Whatever! So as expected he doesn't like the surprise and runs away. Poor thing! He lost his home and sense of belonging that day. Looks like he is on the run ever since, but Mahek got him. Eating at the roadside stalls and bonding was cute, but I would not have done that! Go ahead brand me a snob! The most "important" scene of this episode,"Nani" dropped in to "entertain" us. I don't even understand what she blabbers half the time, so I am going to ignore her.

Shaurya is angry at Karuna for lying to him and he says mean things to her. Mahek becomes the voice of reason for him. I liked how she rested her head on his back and told him that she needs him even if he doesn't need her. Poor Karuna, she must have felt lonely in the whole world when Shaurya didn't understand her and she can't even tell anyone what's bothering her. Rajashri is a wonderful actress. Mahek consoles her and reassures her that Shaurya won't be able to stay angry with her for too long. She is practicing the role of good daughter-in-law, trying to smoothen out everything going wrong in her sasural. As long as it stays in reasonable limits, I can probably put up with it. PDA in PWG and this time Mahek licks off chocolate icing from Shaurya's lips. I loved his smile at the end of this scene. Not a fan of nani-mami hag fight.

Mahek calls up Shaurya early in the morning. That was a cute phone convo. She plans to patch up the differences between Karuna and Shaurya and she manages to do that by the end of the episode, but the whole process was so boring and unemotional to me! Mahek dumping the flour on her head came out good. Samiksha was really cute in that scene. Not a fan of nani-mami hag fight.

Shaurya throws mami out and Vicky feels bad. Mahek stays at Shaurya's house most of the time these days. Why did she interfere in Mami and Nani fight? She should have let Shaurya deal with it. He is right when he says that mami should learn some manners if she wants to stay in his house. Mahek should cut down on her pravachan. It gets on my nerves sometimes. Mami is a nasty woman and she was not even a good mother to Vicky. No need to feel bad for her. The punching bag scene was cute.
P.S. I love Mahek's motherly side sometimes, but please don't overuse it. Let her be the lover, friend and confidante most of the times. Thanks.
