I actually do not like Jennifer at all, or have never liked her before in any of her roles. However, I have developed an intense attraction towards Maya. You're simplifying human psychology while watching a show that is so concentrated on mental disorders lol. People feel more connected with Maya, in love or in hate, because Maya is the godhead of the narrative. She is the active force of it, she moves the plot and the plot moves through her. This simplification nonsense "Oh you like Maya because of the actress" is absurd to me. You can find Maya repulsive but it is Maya who is the dominant figure of the narrative. Love/hate is a separate conversation but Maya's narrative force can hardly be denied lol. She is an anti-heroine and so many young girls love dark, violent anti-heroes without any redeeming qualities, why not Maya? Also, why do I have to love or hate her? I can hate her actions while being interested in the character. That's the whole point of the show. This boring hero/villain narrative works better in Ekta/Gul Khan dramas, better watch that I guess.
Also, I dislike Saanjh because she bores me and I don't like her acting. Simple as that. I don't even know the actress.
