I think it is always known, history is written by the victors and not by the losers.. So for a side which won a battle by treacherous means(by going against the war rules), it is not surprising that they would try to defame a righteous and brave king who lost.
For Prithviraj Raso, there can be many points, like how does Chand Bardai's son actually knew what was said between Prithviraj and Chand while attempting to kill Ghori? Answer maybe, that he or somebody else was present at the place where Chand and Prithviraj died.
But there is one more truth which being logical contradicts logic, why do they have Prithvi's grave in Afghanistan? Also why do the locals hate Prithvi's grave to the extent that they tend to insult a dead man's grave?
A king can have thousands of traitors, why only PRC would be singled out for the abuse?? There should be something really bad in their eyes, that PRC must have done. What can be more bad than killing their own king Ghori, beside whose Prithvi's grave lie.
We can assume that somebody knowing Chand and PRC must be present when both killed Ghori. But assuming that Ghori killed Prithvi and then took all the trouble to take his body to Afghanistan and bury it there. Then Ghori himself dies and lies besides the grave of Prithvi 😕 and people abuse PRC's grave... It doesn't really make sense.. at least to me..
Excellent points 👏
