Yes, it should if it gets an extraordinary positive WOM.Tubelight will collect around 360 Crores in India(prediction based on teaser) It'll get a huge release in China and should be biggest blockbuster of India there as Zhu Zhu is starring in it. But who really cares about PK now?? Baahubali is the new benchmark, aur iska record todne me toh Khans ke paseene chuttne wale hain. 😆

As for topping Baahubali for any movie, it is going to be hard but it is certainly not out of question. Dangal if it continues like this has a serious chance of crossing 1000 crores at the international BO and that is essentially a low budget drama, with little if any commercial appeal. Crazy numbers when you think about it.

Hirani is working on a 3 Idiot sequel (should be his next after Dutt). It is going to be huge especially in China and Japan. PK too should it get a sequel (according to Hirani they will make one). I won't be surprised if they end up doing 40 million dollars from there alone (Dangal is set for 20-25).

3 Idiots I think in with a real chance, since it will be the bigger of the two in India by a fair margin. A 1000 crores is basically a shoe in, like 500 worldwide these days is for most Salman or Aamir movie.

I don't have much hope from Thugs of Hindustan unless it is truly a period piece epic, the director makes it a uncertainty bar a miracle. But hey he did make D3 and it smashed every record.
