sayantani plays prank on aastha-article!

About the prank, Sayantani says, "I was supposed to go on Aastha's sets and tell her that I have received a call from her production house saying they are not happy with her work so I am going to replace her since this is a very big show. Before me, a production guy was going break this news to her so I called her and told her that."

Sayantani then entered Aastha's sets and on the microphone she was being instructed what to say. "I did that and after listening to me she kept on crying. It is her first show which has not yet come on air so she was scared. If it would have happened with any known face it would have been a different thing but since she is new she could not bear it," says Sayantani.

Even after revealing that it was a prank, Aastha could not believe it and just could not stop herself from crying. "I also felt bad for her and apologized. After that she was hiding her face from the camera. In fact, I requested the production house many times to stop the prank but they carried on for a while longer. However, in the end, she was happy to hear that she was not removed from the show."

The whole prank took place in the make up van so no one was there except Sayantani and Aastha. "I can completely understand her situation. She is very nice and did not say anything to me. I would not like to play such a prank again on anyone. In this case I had to do it. May be if the prank was played on me even I would have reacted similarly," comments the actress.

The episode featuring this prank is coming on air Saturday, 10 pm. Before Sayantani, Narayani and Usha Utthap had also played pranks for this show.
