For me this idea not bad.

I don't think this is a good idea... Prince was gonna perform a child marriage... So Bani is very young compared to prince and a person who tried to do wrong to a minor girl cannot become her husband... That will give a wrong message and Prince was never in love with Bani... If he ever returns to marry Bani then he is to be treated as evil... even if thapki makes him good later, he is not eligible to marry bani... Bani is taking revenge for the injustice done to her with Prince... How can she ever marry that Guy...? It'll be insane...No.

Prince and his family were desperate to get him married. I doubt he will wait 15 years just to take revenge or get married to Bani.
