Bahubali - The Conclusion Worldwide Figures

Bahubali - The Conclusion has grossed an unimaginable Worldwide number in excess 500 crore in all languages in just three days. The India gross business is 395 crore apprx while Overseas is over $18-19 million (3 days only, not including previews). The Overseas figures are conservative estimates as the Telugu and Tamil versions are playing on hire at many places at double or treble the normal ticket rates and this is not reported. The business in US / Cananda, Gulf and Australia has smashed all records. If we include the hire centres US / Canada will be around $11 million which is almost the lifetime in Dangal in just three days. In UK, the Telugu version are hardly being screened on the main chains so its all unreported business. In Australia the film has grossed A$2.23 million with Telugu (875k) Hindi (840k) and Tamil (515k). The lifetime record holder Dangal is at $2.63m which will be beaten in a day or two. The apprx figures of Bahubali - The Conclusion (all langs) Worldwide is as follows

INDIA NETT - 300 crore

INDIA GROSS - 385 crore

OVERSEAS ($) - $18,500,000

OVERSEAS (INR) - 121 crore

WORLDWIDE TOTAL - 506 crore

These are crazy figures and it may well be possible that the film will be the highest grossing Indian film Worldwide in just seven days.

Note - The figures are for the three day weekend and do not include previews, including them the total goes above 520 crore.

Wrong interpretation again. Read it again, you will get it.

The Overseas figures are conservative estimates - which means $ 18-19 M figures of 1st weekend are more likely to change, why in next part.

as the Telugu and Tamil versions are playing on hire at many places at double or treble the normal ticket rates - this is the key for higher collections, 2-3 times rates.

and this is not reported - it means it is not reported actual figures that's why they are conservative & would change.

Nothing in these lines indicate, may be or assume. They are playing on Double / Treble rates, which is clearly the case here in India also.

Who is interpreting it wrongly again?

BOI clearly says the overseas figures it is reporting are conservative estimates, which means it is a product of the number of tickets sold with the normal ticket price. Since which all screens or how many screens have doubled or tripled the rates is not clearly reported, it has taken the minimum collections possible and hence they call it conservative estimates.

Definition: A conservative estimate is one that is cautious to avoid excess in approximating the quantity, degree, or worth of something. On the other hand, a liberal estimate would be one that is cautious to avoid underestimating the quantity in question
