A 7 year old kid would know?

I feel a 7 year old kid would remember her Surname and her parents. To not remember your Naam, khoon and Kandan like this and not wanting to remember who your parents could be because Anika parents weren't very good people? And abounded her and her sister? They seem to be a bigger mystery behind all of this. How long exactly was Anika in the orphanage after Sahil parents adopted her? Because Sahil did said he was very small then meaning he was already born before his parents adopted her?

I feel the reason why Anika refused to take her parents surname is because they aren't very good people otherwise I am sure a 7 year old kid would remember her full name.

even i think, she does'nt remember her past and she has only glimpses of them in her nightmare...

Yeah she should remember her surname, I think she either have memory loss or some raaz is there

I thought the same but there is something regarding her sister too and how she was take away from her also her condition wasn't really good when dropped at orphanage so either she has blocked that part out of her memory caz of the trauma she went through or suffered some sort of memory loss due to conditions both possible hence she forgot .if you notice this girl never mentioned her sister/chutki in her hosh it always comes in her dreams and then too no follow up which means it is somewhere in her sub conscious but she really doesn't know what it really is to follow up on the lead for all she knows it is a bura sapna where a kid is being taken away so she never really tried to find out either and dig deep into it

I thnk may be smting major thing was happened with her parents...like murder...so coz of fear she must have blocked her memory..

For all u know these two kids were already living off on the roads or off the mandir alms... We Just know Mr Bajaj found them near mandir in a bad condition and hence took them to orphanage... Also after traumatic experiences blocked memory us very possible... Like Someone pointed Annika never remembers chutki when she is fully conscious... She Only remembers her when she is in deep. Sleep... Subconscious state... She has had some post trauma memory loss... And This can be brought back with only intense psychological treatment sessions... I have a feeling that Shivaay will take her to a counselor... He now knows there was a younger girl too so he will try to dig out bout that...

She should also remember Chutki's actual name but I think traumatic experiences do leave some loops in your memories.

I think something terrible happened to her/their parents and the kids were lost. A fire or accident or murder or whatever. Kids got separated and parent's died. No one knew where the kids went. Then Mr Bajaj took them to an orphanage and whoever was searching (or not) lost the trail to them.
