Okay In all honesty I loved today's episode as well . The reason being that I was excited to have a glimpse of Annika 's past . It has been under the wraps for a long time now . And not just that we also got to see a glimpse of what shivaay would be like with Annika if NKK tag was removed .
Post the supposed revelation it seemed shivaay had regressed 10 years . He was elated , relaxed , relieved and happy . Happy that Annika belonged to a big khandaan ( he mentioned that thrice to pinky , which had me squirming ) . He was happy that he wouldn't have to compromise , happy that we could still hold on to his ideals . We also saw how he was debating between his heart and his mind . How can one person have two different personalities in one body . How difficult it is for him to make a decision regarding Annika . He has this constant back and forth war when it comes to Annika . He is troubled which can be perceived for his fluctuating behavior. His heart desires to be with Annika , to progress in the relationship , to get intimate with her but his mind doesn't allow that . His mind can't see her as the mother of his children ! So when today he thought Annika did have royal blood coursing through her veins ( the fact that she might be illegitimate didn't bother him just like it didn't for om ) his happiness crossed all borders . He could finally have Annika without the struggle . And we did see that change when he went to his bedroom . His whole aura was different . He was indicating directly what he desired instead of playing around and resisting .
Post the actual revelation
His eyes said it all . His bubble had been popped . His Annika had a difficult life . His Annika was starving and, sick . Only to be picked up and given up to the orphanage . His jhasi Ki rani was once weak and vulnerable . And the whole story is not yet revealed . He has more to learn . He came back only to be met with a concerned Annika , worrying if he had his medicines and breakfast . That opened the gates to his controlled yet surging emotions , and he took her into a bone crushing protective hug . He can't let go of his Annika . He is her anchor and her sathi for life . But the struggle is real . It's gonna be hard hitting what her past life has to offer .
My reaction to a peak at Annika's life --
It had me reaching out to her already . I can't imagine Annika going through that pain . So the defensive part in me was kinda happy when she was thought to be bajaj's granddaughter . Happy that she might not have had a rough childhood . But alas my heart broke too when it was revealed that it was not so ! Sigh !
Ps - there are so many posts that have so many viewpoints regarding today 's episode . It was delightful to read different thoughts and perceptions .
