Shivaay was expecting an easy solution to his problem. He thought he could bring a happy ending for Annika. His version of happy ending meant, a super rich family maybe richer than Oberois.

(That's what fans have been wishing for here and there, and CVs just thumbed their noses at the very idea. Nope, no fairy tale for Annika)

The elation and excitement in his face was frustrating to say the least. Why are you so happy Shivaay? Why? Was it still an option to leave her? Why are you so relieved , like you were so happy you weren't settling for less than you deserved?

He hugged his mother and thanked her for making an issue of Annika's lineage. The woman skulks around even in Bajaj's office.

Watching him celebrate Annika's "true ancestry" tells a lot about how big the issue is in his mind. He was positively buoyant that night, even more playful and suggestive with her. Jism ki Bukh and all.

But after his visit to Mr Virender Bajaj, his happy palace in the clouds came crashing down. Mr. Bajaj had found a sick girl unconscious and sent her and sister to an orphanage. She was abandoned and neglected.

When he came back, he looked so lost and confused, I don't know who I felt more sorry for , Shivaay or Annika. This way, not knowing would have been better, as it takes away the strength from Annika. He is pitying her, and she has always been a fighter who prevailed despite hardship.

He hugs her in desperation. He thought he would be bringing her great news of her family, but now he's more disappointed than she will be.

Pinky is up to something. She just hates Annika, rich or not. That's not a good sign. She vows to do all it takes to twist that weakness of her son's and be rid of Annika.

I hope he tells Sahil what he found out, and they talk about Chutki. That's another lead.

What I don't get, is Annika was a big girl when she was found by Bajaj, why doesn't she know her last name and parent's names ?was she so ill that she forgot, memory loss or something..

Nothing about Mahi's DNA test today. The way mother and son behaved today, I think Mahi's truth is going to hit them HARD.

Okay, so I'll be lying today if I said that Shivaay didn't annoy the hell out of me today during his scene with Pinky and immediately after he found out about the Bajaj possibility. You're exactly right. It made me think if he ever thought that leaving Anika was an option. But after watching the episode again, I felt he was more relieved for himself.

No way do I believe for a second after watching again that he was considering the possibility of ever leaving her. His excitement... I felt like it was because that part of him that was still holding back because of the uncertainty was finally going to go away and he'd be able to move forward towards a happily married life that he never knew he could have.

We all know he's been holding back because of this NKK hangup. So yes, he was excited because life was going to be simpler now. He wouldn't have to fight his head and mind. He wouldn't have to hold back with her anymore.

It's the conflict between his heart and mind. His heart wants proximity - both physical and emotional - with Anika. And it's beating faster in this desperation. As he spends more and more time with her, his defenses are crumbling and it's becoming harder and harder for his heart to resist the happy, peaceful and content-filled life he knows he'll have with her.

Therefore, his mind has to become stronger and counter the feelings of his heart harder. It was like a constant battle raging inside him 24/7 and it's eating him, exhausting him and making him tired. So, personally, while I was annoyed at the guy for being so elated, I don't blame him for feeling relieved that this battle would come to an end and he can finally give his all to Anika. He's pompous in his thinking, but that's just how he is.

Also, he felt like Anika would b excited about meeting her parents, too. It's still not entered his thick head ke she wouldn't care who her parents are. But it's HIS barometer and he thought she'd think the same way.

As for him feeling pity for her... I dunno, it looked more to me like he was devastated at what she'd been put through and the side of him that likes to parent and protect Anika came alive. He had a pretty bland expression to the revelation of Bajaj's grandaughter being in London. But when he heard how Anika had been living, he looked like he'd been hit by a train.

He was wrecked by the knowledge. Yes, he's also prolly disappointed, but the overwhelming feeling was one of protectiveness. Consider how he immediately hugged her and looked at her with so much tenderness when she came in front of him. The moment he looks at her, all else fades in the BG and it's "just Anika".

The more he learns about her past, the more he'll fall in love with her. Right now, he knows practically nothing about who she is and what she's been put through yet he respectsher so much.

Every new thing he learns is going to be a blow to this wall of NKK that's holding him back from giving her his all. The more he learns, the stronger will he hold on to her, as his NKK goes away when it's faced with the reality of what life has been like for this girl he called "sadak ka koora"

Abhee he found out so little and he looked like he'd collapse with the weight of what he'd learned. His first instinct was to hug her to him, wanting to erase away all her pains. Right afterwards, we know he takes her to the kitchen and feeds her himself. Anika is confused at the gesture but you can see the tenderness in his eyes.

The bedroom scene was hilarious and raunchy 😉 . Pinky is annoying as hell. It became very clear to me now that it isn't about NKK for her. She just hates he fact that Shivaay loves Anika so much😕 Please udha do issey yaar koi.

Overall, I think it was another good episode!! I fell like CVs are in rush for some reason...the Tia tracked dragged for so long, and here when we want them to take the time and build a comprehensive story...i feel they are rushing it...or maybe they have had this potion of the story laid out way in advance...so no thinking needed...just forge ahead!

I agree Shivvay was so elated to know that she could have been related to the industrialist T V Bajaj...and his happiness was glowing on his face. In all fairness to Shivvay...I think there were multiple reasons for the happiness...he was happy for Annika...she will finally get some closure...she will come to know a family she has not been a part of, etc... For selfish reasons he was happy for himself too...but not because he thought he would have left Annika if her past was unsavory...but I think more because he would no longer need to reconcile with his belief, his inner struggle...he wouldn't need to address it anymore...and that alone took the weight off of his mind. Somewhere he is feeling guilty that he is giving in his NEED to know her past...and this was the obvious proverbial happy ending...right?! The scene where he comes into his room, and just hugs her is because he is overcome with the knowledge that even when Annika was as young as 7, she went days without food, and was so sick, she couldn't speak. He cannot accept that...he cannot accept that such a young child was made to suffer so...its killing him, hence he pulls her into himself and hugs her so tightly...vowing to himself that she would never again see a day where she is hungry and not content.

I really think the more his digs, the more he is going to learn of her suffering...and the end result is going to be more reaffirming for him that he realizes...that he LOVES Annika...and he cannot even bare to think about or hear about her struggles. This knowledge will tie him more to her than ever before...so much so that whatever her background, it won't matter to him...because his respect and admiration for her will have grown ten folds!! This journey to learning about her past, will be what frees his mind from the binds of NKK!!

Pinky definitely will continue with her agenda to separate Shivika...but what she doesn't know is the her Son is already at the point of no return...he cannot exist without her...so try all you want, then only thing that she will end up accomplishing is pushing them closer than they are now!

The tod phod scene and the Kitchen scene that is to come tomorrow, is more proof that her pain kills him...and her suffering is unbearable for him.

i agree with you. I hated the happiness on his face when he thought she was rich. I get that he was relieved he wouldn't have to choose between mind and heart anymore but still didnt go well with me. It kind of ruined the rest of the episode for me as well and the editing of todays epi was so bad. The editors need to pick up the slack

This episode man, so weird. I laughed too many times, especially when Annika was hungry. Fhat the wuck could possibly compel you to think that Annika didn't mean she wanted to eat food. Shivaay, y'all need to control your hormones. I get that Annika looks gorgeous and she is your wife, but seriously, itna desperation achi nahi hai. Shivaay going full cheapde is funny.

Also, remember Shivaay, not everything has a price. Certainly Annika doesn't. Just keep that in mind. She proved you wrong, not once but twice.

I feel there is an argument to be made. Shivaay seemed super happy that Annika had some NKK. Honestly, I feel like he was being selfish, but he could have been happy for Annika too. Who knows, but I think it's the former. That being said, I wonder what it would be if Annika was a Bajaj. That would have been a bit more angsty. Being unloved by your still living family and being cut off from them for how many years... I think our Billu was celebrating a little too early.

Man, Annika is going to feel so hurt that Pinky brought up T. V. Bajaj. She's going to feel desvestated that Shivaay was trying to find out about her past and got a false lead. Poor Annika. Also, I get the feeling we aren't getting Annika's past in a flashback soon. Maybe it was just for that one scene where Bajaj saves Annika and Chutki.

I feel kind of angry-frustrated. I don't want him to pity her. She is awesome and a wonderful person. She stood by him, thick and thin. And that should've been enough.

Selfish, but a normal reaction. He was expecting the worse and his dream scenario happened. No more conflict so naturally he is relieved.

Pinky is vile 😆 It doesn't matter where she comes from she wants her out. The way she is attacking her own son is insane. She heard the story too, but instead of having a normal human reaction and she starts phase 2 of her plan. Who is happy someone doesn't have a family. Man, no wonder he wanted nothing to do with her before 😆

Didn't seem like he was pitying her. He was hurt that she suffered so much even the man retelling the story was sad.

In FB, looked like they experienced something traumatic. It didn't seem like they were abandoned or lost their parents. She only has nightmares about the orphanage not before so maybe she blocked out the memory because of the trauma.

Nevertheless still disheartening to watch. I still see how much he cares.for her, but to fit her in a category for his brain to be appeased , looks like a tough endeavor.

Omkara chat is very useful right now, not like the kitchen one.

I really want to know, if it comes out that Mahi and Shivaay are twins, what a bomb blast it would be for Pinky & Shivaay. And Annika would stay by him no matter what.

Shivaay's not being shown as heroic but normal in his journey... i love the fact that the Cvs are pushing shivaay back and forth

first it's ok she's from a poor family -----> then she's an orphan but she's still my wife -------> then i will try to find out about her family although nothing will change -----> then she maybe has NKK (yay i don't have to loose myself and my principles) --------> no she's still an orphan and she was hungry for days (so i'll feed her with a lot of love)

the journey above is so normal and i've seen people go through it (not for NKK but in gerneral) that hope that life gives during such journeys that he'll get everything (both himself and annika )without loosing any is so real

that excitement on his face was real ... was of someone who wanted everything and thought life is that easy

i think that disappointment that shivaay got was really important ... cause it got him to understand annika more and feel what she went through

shivaay still believes in background and he still wants to know ... he doesn't want a blank past of annika which is not wrong

i think if something his heart and brain agree on is that he won't give up annika ... however his heart knows that if annika finds out about this she'll be hurt and his brain keeps nagging him to know

coming to mahi

i wonder how mahi's track will help????i just can't understand how mahi being pinky's son will slam her in the face or how will it end shivay's NKK for sure ... and i don't want to think of illegitimacy thing cause it will ruin shivika as much as annika being from a rich family
