Just watched today's episode on hotstar! Yes umashankar could be next suraj for his sandhya in future but forcing someone into marriage using ur might coz YOU have ur heart set on her..am highly disappointed.no matter how Godly a man is with his community, he's still not a God! How could anyone support him for doing this. His family, his community ppl, everyone enjoyed this undue display of umashankar's aggression.US doesn't seem to mind his 'wife' crying 😡.shame this is still a reality in some parts of our country..

That's the whole point of their pairing though. I feel like he is the belief in the unseen, whereas Kanak will be his voice to reason and understanding. Kanak is a carefree, freespirited educated girl who has strong opinions. She has faith in her family, her bhabho and her parent's sacrifice. She lives her life along those morals and values. Yet Umashankar has his own beliefs that clearly do not match with Kanaks. I'm not saying that I agree with Umashankar, of course, but he probably felt as if he had no other choice. How else would he have been able to convince Kanak to marry him? No matter how much he convinced her, and explained to her, she would not see his point of view. I was a bit upset too, but I'm still waiting to see how the story progresses.

Yes, what he has done was wrong, but I want to see if the CV is capable of writing a beautiful repentance journey for Uma so in the end to realize that he was wrong and even to involve in actions to stop others from doing the same. I've seen a couple of forced marriages and only once I've seen the hero honesty regretting it and trying to rectify his mistake. I have expectations from the DABH makers that they will also do it properly.

Like i said previously in a post that Uma & his family is 19th century people whereas Kanak is 21st century girl so now it is the responsibility of Kanak to make them modernize, to make them 21st century people. I feel in next 6 month when Uma will realize that he did a big mistake by forcibly marrying Kanak he will free her since he will learn about her problems, about her already fixed marriage, about her dis-likeness towards him n of course for the big reason that he will realize forcing someone for anything is wrong though he will still believe that only she is the one for him yet he will think an ultra modern girl like Kanak only fits with an ultra modern man like Mayank & Kanak in the meantime will fall for him cause he is gonna do a lot for her during this time so seeing his goodness n seeing his unconditional love for her she will want to stay with him & from that point their actual journey of love n life as a couple will begin.

Amen!! that's my only hope now. this guy no matters how and what he feels for his lady love ought to repent. He is one of the protagonist of a serial where his in-laws were an ideal figure for married couple...love, respect and concern they had for each other..otherwise he's nothing less than Kali thakur of dil bole oberoi

I so agree with you, all those scenes for Kanak to see Umas love for her will be so amazing to watch , I'm so excited but yes at the same time not happy with this forced marriage crap..i saw a clip on youtube, night after the marriage where Uma is looking at Kanak with this beautiful smile when she is looking at the lantern ..the scene is simple but beautiful..so yea I'm excited for their journey hoping CVs will do a excellent job

True.
I Don't Like Forceful Marriages.
US Shouldn't Have Forced Her To Marry Him Like That.
Today's Episode I Will Skip.
