Loved how she handled this.Very calmly.

She confirmed that she isn't performing and has been repeatedly saying in all her recent interviews as well that nothing is confirmed.

It's not fair they only targeted Sonakshi, what's her fault when the organizers want her or approach her?

biebers concert tickets are about 5000-10000 and people ar actually going to see his oncert putting that much
as for sonakshi no words atleast if prai would have performed it is understandable, since she is a trained singer ,sona you dont need to enhance your skills on stage ,also you cannot enhance yur skill on stage since theres no autotune

I'm really not sure why actors perform on stage...well, I can see it can be to bring in a bigger crowd or whatever. BUT THEY ARE ACTORS NOT SINGERS! What are they going to perform? Their dance numbers? Lol at Sonakshi, she isn't a singer but an okay-ish actress. She is not even a big name on top of that.

Its ironic when a singer ventures into acting. He or she is either not accepted or discouraged. But nepotism children xan venture into any field of entertainment. I am sure when it comes to songs, audiences will prefer a professional singer over actors/wannabe singers. Besides the way Sonakshi replied to Armaan once again defending rudely her privileged status made me dislike her more. I had hated her when she was made Indian Idol Judge and now her stance only makes me dislike her more.

I am saying this as someone who goes to concerts a lot, both Indian and Western. I don't mind paying for good music and musicians and I do, a lot. In fact I think music is one of the biggest forms of culture and art, more than movies IMO.

But Who are bieber's audience ? Here is it shrieking pre teen girls. Cold Play he ain't so don't insult them by comparing Biebs with them. But If fools are prepared to pay 5000 to 10,000 Rs for Beiber then they deserve Sonakshi as entertainment. Who is the equivalent of Beiber in India ? Come on, why send a respected singer to sing with him. Sonakshi with auto tune is at his level. Biebs is a joke and he deserves Sonakshi. The composers who are vying to sing with Beibs amuse me.

As for concerts believe me, the diaspora audience is not a fool. People are willing to pay tremendous amounts if they think they are worth it and those concerts are sold out. Illayaraja and SPB came on tour. Sold out. SPB had two days of Telugu and Tamil concerts in Dallas, usually it happens only in Bay area, but people came from all over for him especially as it was his 50 years in the industry, some drove from several states. The tickets were not cheap. Arjit came this Sunday, his tickets were cheap to begin with and were reduced in price further closer to the concert. Heck even Ayushman has been on tour. Indian musicians always love to come on tour but if you want to get paid, whoever you are if people think you are worth it they will drive long distances and pay lots to see you.

Yes. Good someone spoke up. I don't know why is bollywood given so damn much importance Everytime there is some kind of an event in India.

Also sonakshi or any other actor for that matter should stick to what they know the best. Acting. Let's not pretend to be an all rounder when one is clearly not.

Singing in live concerts, keeping the public hyped up in a concert is not a piece of cake. And having had the first hand experience of quite a few bollywood stars performing I completely believe that most of them dont have the kind of charm, energy, aura to keep up 3hrs on stage and keeping the audience entertained for that long.

Heck most of them have Pre recorded stage shows when performing in award shows.
