It's like they relish showing child sexual abuse...

Sometimes the scene doesn't make sense, only based on what the criminal says
some women kill family members for money and then say I was abused as child by one of them

and then they show it as 100 % truth though the rest of the story doesn't corroborate it at all

I second your thoughts. Sometimes they really cross their limits and it's just unbearable to watch.
And like one member has posted they focus on skin show rather than alerting viewers. Its about time they do this.
A few years back i was watching CP but after a certain episode of child abuse and the horrific depiction I never watched it again. Even my mother stopped watching it. It sometimes messes with your brain and heart.

They should ban such shows. Instead of making citizens aware/alert they instill fear and mistrust with their sensationalism. My father is obsessesed with these kind of shows. He has become so paranoid that he won't answer the door fearing someone would enter the house and kill everybody.😔

Shows like Crime Patrol and Savdhaan India aren't meant for young minds in the first place. If people don't like such shows, then they should simply not watch it. Why to ban it or censor it?? What they show in these shows is reality, so how can you censor that?? And honestly, nothing is good for children on Indian television right now. Even the daily soaps have too much of negativity and mature content, which isn't good for kids. Why doesn't this Nihlani thinks of censoring that too. At the end of the day, people can watch whatever they want to watch without questioning others choices, and it's the job of parents to stop their kids from watching these type of shows.

There's a Channel named ID (Investigation Discovery ), in which all the shows based on real life criminal cases of US in Hindi dubbed version airing 24*7. Now will Nihlani ban this channel also??

CP and SI come at very late hours in the night when kids are supposedly sleeping.
I really haven't found the episodes to be gruesome, but yes, the incidents depicted in them are truly heinous and very disturbing.
I really don't see the need for censorship in these episodes. I do believe that to a great extent, they are very mindful of how they depict some brutal scenes like rape and child abuse, so they are doing a pretty good job already.
I don't know what Nihalani, the looney, is smoking 🄱

Earlier they used to show CP even in afternoon and all day. It is recently they're showing Kapil Sharma show. As for SI it is shown on Life OK all day and I am not talking about Life OK HD.

I think most people are confusing the content with the graphical depiction of that content.

I totally think that they need to depict the stories in a less graphical manner. Some of the scenes make you sick.

So they can convey that rape happened without actually "showing" it. But the stories need to be told. Many people honestly don't believe for example that child sexual abuse happens within a family

What this stupid P. Nilhani is saying is that rape abuse yeh sab kuch nahin hota hai because its against our culture. He has a problem that people are showing such non-Indian cultural crimes. Ass.

We don't need censorship but regulations
