She told him everything what she read in meer'a email. Yes she was smart to find about who meera was & what she does for living.

She was just curious as a sister to know who was in ashwin's life and she found that meera was in love with him since her childhood. Hope that she will push him little to move further in this relation.

I liked her comment that how marriage works...by ignoring and compromising. Very true.

Hey Meera,

Sorry for being very late in replying to the earlier mail.

I had to sit through a couple of meetings all day, which is why I could not reply earlier. Sorry.

I do not carry around Alpenliebes anymore, but whenever I visit home, I make it a point to carry them for the little monkeys.

I don't like to label Geet to be one cute little creature. Let us keep the options open for now. Although after the recent call I had with her, where she had been ranting about how she was only kidding about you in the first mail she had written and that you actually don't even remember me right now, I see her as that annoying parrot that just talks and talks a lot.

And daughters being a misfortune, none of the Handas buy that, which you might know already. Traditionally Handa women are considered supremely sarcastic and amazingly strong. They all have a sense of humor too, and you would know that if you remember my mom. And I remember my mother always citing your sisters example to my sisters, to ask them to be as well behaved as you kids.

If you do not know that already, you three especially you were baba's favorite. Him and you got along very well, wasn't it? Always discussing sports, or news or politics like two elders. He treated you like a little adult and held you in high regard.

Baba and I don't do small talk and I think somewhere he does crave for some company like yours. Now with Kirti and Sanju married and away, he would trade me easily to have you as his kid instead.

Um I have to admit, I am a little surprised about the image you have of me. I am not that good a person. Cursed, maybe not, but I have punched a boy once. Since Geet liked spilling my stories anyway, I would leave that story for Geet to tell you. I am not so proud of it, which is why I am not telling it to you myself.

Your description of office life looked a little familiar. Is it that TV show Geet is going crazy about? Last time when she came to visit me in summer, she had not let me watch a single IPL match. Not even a single one. She was watching that show where they were showing some story set in the backdrop of an office. Geet says she expects her boss to be like that and threw a pillow at me when I told her for a person to be an MD at that age, either the company has to be a family institution or that the guy had to be a little older like in his mid thirties. If she is a bug, then I am her killjoy.

PS: Geet although calls me Ashwin Bhayya now, there was a time, when she was in her early teenage, when she fancied calling me AB. Don't tell her but I cringed every time because she harbored a crush on Abhishek Bacchan that time and it was more than clear that she would refer to me as Jr. Bacchan and think she did me a favor.

Anyway, after that debacle, I have taken a liking to be called nothing but my original but boring name. So, please call me Ashwin. Just, Ashwin.

Part 19 - he praising handa girls with their qualities like sarcasm and sense of humor. He didn't like geet having crush on jr bacchan and calling him with his initials. Oh...he hated that his baba always fond of meera than him as she can talk or discuss about any matter. Lets see what meera will write now. What about maan & geet's email-talking...who will start first.?
