I think Vandana's stay at the ArYa house will be one hell of a struggle for her. I'm somewhat tempted to refer to it as the Mehrotra house, after all, that is what it originally was, but well. Whether Vandana has any motive* to be there or not, I'm almost certain this is the time Maya will take revenge from her mother-in-law.

After her wedding with Arjun, Maya stayed at the Sharma house, for a week (?), and all she underwent during that one-week stay due to Vandana was indescribably low, pathetic and humiliating for her. I think Maya will utilise this opportunity to take revenge, I do believe Maya is a person who holds grudges, be it for 3 years.
