So much of life still on their side
brave bonding between them abides
Yet they are unable to make any strides
At the most a hurried hug ,or glance glides
That is all that happens most of the time
Everytime come nearer to commit the crime
an invisible hand seems to change their line
And as if they are reminded of a celibacy sign
It is really sad the way they progress every year
From poles apart to becoming hubby and wife dear
Then to remain distant and apart though living near
Then a coming together for a while but with fear
Only to end up realising the responsibilities of family
The loss of a child,the loss of trust,the loss of quality
Time which they cannot indulge ,made to feel guilty
And sans ageing have assumed an elderly role already
To prevent the most natural function of life
Between married folks like husband and wife
whole plot has been made to duck and dive
