I also think that he genuinely loves her and is not faking this time around.

If its a question of smirk shown on his face in the precap, well precap can b misleading at times as witnessed in the past too. May b the smirk was not for chachi agreeing and actually happened after listening to her condition for marriage which we will know only after seeing episode.
