reading so many posts about us Maya fans being blind etc
But this is the thing
WE started watching this show because it was about an obsessed women lover
When people think Maya is evil
We see her insecurity, her pain, her trauma from her past
Mental health people? This is a woman who was constantly tortured by her father, who always felt like a reject
Her ways of doing things may not be right
But hey how many of us would be normal with a father physically abusing us?

Every time someone calls Maya Mad, I'm angry because she is not mad
She has mental health issues
Two very different things

Many people have abusive parents, and they turn out fine. Most of them do not turn out to be domestic abusers, blackmailers, murderers etc.

Having some mental illness (which hasn't even been shown) does not excuse everything she does.

"Her ways of doing things may not be right"

That's some understatement.

So you expect every person to turn out fine just because some abused people are fine? The amount of ignorance people show towards Maya's abusive childhood makes me cringe.

Yes, Maya is wrong. Her past does not justify her current actions, she should be punished but don't ever disregard the abuse she went through saying some people had it worse/some people are fine so why is she not...

If they do not turn out fine, then they should seek professional treatment.

I don't disregard what she went through. However, that does not give her the right to ruin someone else's life. If she has a mental illness, she should undergo treatment and be jailed like anyone else would be if they did what she did.

My dear friend, this is something you are wrong about.

I would like to suggest that you read a few articles and books on child abuse, you would read that it has deep effects.
Majority victims themselves tend to succumb to abusive traits, notice the Majority.
Yes , all evidences and Experiments and experiences prove that an abused child would lead to development of a personality who believes in those abuses.

The only way out - personal and professional help, both love and medicine are required

As a person with abused childhood (although mine wasn't even half as bad as Maya) I have read thousands of documentations and experiences on child abuse during my teenage, so as to feel better, to not feel alone.

Talking about Maya, she needs help asap but I wonder who would help her.
Arjun is too ignorant
Saanjh and Vandana- paagal hai yeh aurat as if psychological issues/trauma gives you the right to treat someone like chudail

Coming back to the point plz don't think most child abused turn out fine coz majority do not

Does this mean that if a metally abused child is let loose in an area...she has the right to destroy the people around her...bcoz she was abused and mentally sick...All present actions nullified.

And who told you that just because she has mental problems, whatever she does is absolutely justified? 😕
Just because she went throught pain & trauma in her childhood, that doesnt mean she has the right to manipulate or destroy lives.
That's the lamest argument I've ever heard.
By same logic, we should feel bad for boys who are obsessed & stalk girls in real life? Even they have mental issues na 😕
She surely needs proper treatment though.

By that logic all serial killers & rapists should be shown mercy. Because they're all mentally sick. No?

What if Ashwin also had a traumatic childhood and turned out to be an abuser himself? You know the cycle of abuse. Should he also be shown respect & love?

Maya had to go through a very traumatic childhood. But that does not, I repeat , does NOT excuse her crimes. This is BS!

If she's committed a crime at the age of 9-10, the one Ashwin kept refering to, I could forgive her for that because she was a kid & that too an abused, abnormal one. Framing & trapping someone, at the age of 26-27, is a crminal offence & I'm waiting for the day she will pay for her crimes.

We still dont know about mayas past. Those who supporting maya are speculating that ashwin used to beat her and that her state today is because of him.We are yet to see the truth Maya is evil than a mental patient who finds pleasure seeing people suffer.
