Shivaay has impressed me the past few times he stood by Annika or his sister Prinku. Both women hesitated to take physical action against their tormentors aka Daksh and Ranveer. When Annika had those flashbacks, Shivaay told her silently she didn't need to be worried anymore. When she looked at him for reassurance he again gave her that firm look, yes my dear you have a right as an innocent woman to take a stand. You don't need me to beat him up. You need to speak through your actions what it means to mess with Annika Shivaay Singh Oberoi! That slap was magical for me and other women who have been tormented by society or guys like Daksh and their families.( I was lucky I didn't face the extent of what Priyanka or Annika faced but nevertheless I appreciate a man who lets the women in his life express their anger in such ways)
Then we come to Priyanka who suffered from a social phobia disorder. I must appauld Subha for the scene as to how she told Ranveer thanks for clearing her fears, after she slapped him. Usually a girl goes into rant and then finally slaps the guy. This time she just went for it because finally you have the best on-screen brother who actually encourages his sister to take a stand, when he stood firmly besides her and said Come on- I was happy with this.
She went from tears to strength, and i just love seeing a man or woman go through that change on screen or in real life.
SSO has evolved and he is encouraging women empowerment, I just am in awe how each time he supports his family he does it so gracefully.
Who wouldn't risk their life for man of this esscence? Hope Annika doesn't stay in coma too long.
