Whenever I feel low I looked up to women around me for inspiration: Katrina Kaif

Talking about inspiration from women, Katrina said, "We have so many amazing inspirations around us. There have been moments in my own life when I feel low or time has been bit tough, I look up to inspiration to women around me. The kind of obstacles, opposition and hurdles they have faced in their work and who have done amazing work for people of the country and rural development has been outstanding. I see the kind of passion, grit and determination in them and that is my inspiration when they achieved something from scratch. I always urge women around me to look around you to find stories and individuals who are constantly succeeding in some adverse situations".
Talking about the event, she said, "IMC's works that have done is very specific to so many developments and so many aspects all across the sectors. It's about growth and giving equal opportunities to women. It's a huge body of work that they have been doing from last 50 years and also responsible for bringing significant changes in rural community and creating awareness about various issues like education, health, employment and among others."
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, also addressed 50th year celebrations of Indian Merchants' Chamber Ladies Wing, via video conferencing. Speaking on the occasion, the PM praised the spirit, dedication of women power who are excelling and performing better day by day. From Panchayats to Parliament, wells in villages to Silicon Valley, women are leading from the front, he added.
The Prime Minister also touched upon themes such as Maternity Benefit Bill, MUDRA, Ujjwala, and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and spoke about their benefits.
On work front, Katrina next will be seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos and she is now shooting with Salman Khan for Ali Abbas Zafar's Tiger Zinda Hai. There have been also reports that she might pair up with Hrithik Roshan in Kabir Khan's next.
